    My dad worked for Nkrumah and I must say that Nkrumah's voice is very tampered by his microphone in this interview . My dad told us that Nkrumah spoke with absolute clarity especially with the press. He also told us that Nkrumah behind closed doors was jovial and a simple guy. He said Dr Nkrumah was a nationalist and a Pan-African through and through. It's fair to say that African nations owe their independence to Nkrumah for his struggle to free Africa from colonial rule. Rest in peace osagyefo and my Dad .

      But he ended up aligning with the East and drew the wrath of the West, ultimately resulting in his overthrow... SAD.

    • @talkingAfrica
      @talkingAfrica  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nkrumah never aligned with the East. That was a false accusation by the West simply because he refused to be under their influence.

By the way, one of the answers he eluded to that could happen under dictatorship is happening under akufo addo.

    Nkrumah said at his first United Nations Address: “Ti kor nko agyina”. One person do not make all the decisions. (Meaning not only the 5 Permanent Members of the UN can and should decide for the world. All member nations must be allowed to participate in decision making).

    Nkrumah, the "political prophet" of Ghana and Africa. The deliverer and redeemer of the oppressed in Africa and in the diaspora, being subjected to a barrage of press question punches to "catch him out" somewhere just like the Scribes (journalistic Jews), the Rabbis, the Pharisees, the Sadduccees, religious council leaders/Sanhedrin, etc., did to Jesus Christ in his days on Earth.
    They hounded and harassed him with spiritual, religious, social, political, economic, etc., questions every day just to "catch him out" on something wrongly, mistakenly, unfortunately, inadvertently said so that they would find reason to pounce on him and punch him or stone him to death, or accuse and antagonise him or castigate and condemn him or lambast and lynch him, but he always defeated their ulterior motives, plans and purposes and left them wondering and scratching their heads, and reviewing their schemes, notes and strategies for the next move and agenda or attack.
    Exactly same did these political press hounders and harassers in America sought to do to Nkrumah, but he was too clever, too intelligent, too smart, too much for them to deal with or tackle, just as Christ Jesus was too excellent, too brilliant, too blessed, too wise, too knowledgeable for the Scribes, Rabbis, Pharisees, Sadduccees, etc., etc., to handle or deal with.
    Truly, the man was a genius beyond measure, witty and wonderful.
    Heaven-sent "political prophet" deliverer/saviour of Ghana and most greatly/importantly the African (indeed all Africa) just as Moses was empowered by Almighty God and sent to deliver the Israelites from bondage and slavery in Egypt. Exodus chpts 3 & 4. May Almighty God have mercy on Africa once more to send us another "political prophet" like Nkrumah from anywhere/any country/any corner in Africa to redeem Africa. God bless our homeland Ghana and our continent Africa. Truly, #NND Nkrumah Never Dies 😊❤
