Quite enjoyable to watch, John. First time watcher, now subscriber! The camera settings at the bottom of each pic, helps a lot. Great shots! We'll continue "watching over your shoulder", from Olympic Nat'l Park, Port Angeles, WA., USA!!!
@@rmetzger7368 thank you! Welcome to the channel! :)
Lovely place and well captured on your trip. A place I keep seeing that I too would like to photograph. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Paul!
Beautiful location and lovely photos John. Well done!
Thanks!
Wow, what a morning 😮 … outright beautiful ❤
Thank you! It was a lovely day to be out!
It looks like you caught it in perfect light. Also proves the the adage that at a honeytrap you've got to be there not just early but first.
Thanks! Aye the light looked like it had peaked just after sunrise and we almost left then suddenly the rays backlighting the mist and smoke had us unpacking bags in a hurry again! We had it to ourselves for maybe half an hour then it started to go busier and busier. Was a saturday morning...
John great captures of that location. The ship creates a great story for your images.
Thanks Charles! It's a great location!

Stunning photos and light. We are booked to stay in Fort William in late August but we'd need to get up at silly o'clock to get that light 😂
Hope you have a great time!
Great shots. I really like the one at 5:48, especially with the bird on the mast.
Thanks! :)
Love the portrait oriented shot of the ship with the people, excellent. John Pouw NZ

Nice shot --- makes me want to be up in Scotland :)
Thanks! You should visit!
stunning images, great job
Thanks!
Beautiful light John, & great images. I was there in July & to my surprise NO other photographers ......
Thanks Graham. I've had it to myself a few times over the years but recently it does feel a lot busier than before. You're lucky to get anywhere to yourself in July in the Highlands!
👌.
thank you!
Super conditions and some class shots. Enjoyed that John. Have good and bad memories of visiting here as my tripod fell over on the beach by the wreck smashing my 16-55 Fuji lens 😩
Thanks Keith! Sorry to hear about the lens. Hopefully it was insured?
@@JohnMcKennaPhotography luckily it was repairable so got away with it 😬 lesson learned (until the next time ) 🤪
Really enjoyed this video. First time I’ve seen you out with another photographer. Doesn’t seem to have held you back. Wonderful images. Would love to know the story on the shipwreck. I’ll look it up. Thank you.
Thanks James! I cover the history of the ship in my previous video from here:

Thanks for the link! I appreciate knowing something of the backstory. Strange that the owners would have just left it there. Loved the pictures from that earlier shoot.
Thanks! @@jamesvoiss7122
A beautifully produced video John and some stunning images of the wreck. This is high on my bucket list of locations to shoot but, living down in Cornwall now, it will need to be organised carefully. I'm planning a trip back to my hometown of Paisley at some point during 2024 so will try and tie it in with the trip! Keep them coming! 😊
Thanks! Definitely worth a trip when you get back up to Paisley!
