    The Tulips Buttonhole by TechKnitter is a perfectly-formed, strong buttonhole with even cast-on and bind-off edges. I highly recommend investing time in learning this advanced technique. The blog link above includes free video and step-by-step photo instructions.

    Wow, that looks so much better than what I’ve made of the traditional buttonhole - can’t wait to try it for my next project!

    ooohh, this looks great. I'm going to try this for my purse. I'm adding a turnlock so I think this sort of buttonhole will work for the opening part (I am going to put fabric on the flap too and make a hole there as well. I think it will look good.

    There is hardly no videos at all on utube that shows how to make leg holes for dog sweaters or anything else. I wish you would make some. By the way live your videos and your channel and your website!

    This would make a good slot on the corner of a diagonally knitted washcloth, substituting for a crocheted loop, for hanging up.

      Hi Catherine,
      Thank you so much for writing. What an awesome idea! If you have already made a washcloth using the Tulip's buttonhole, would you please send us a photo? We would love to put it on our Facebook page and show other knitters this great idea!

    does everyone except me knit continental?

    • @Knitfreedom
      @Knitfreedom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely not! I learned to knit in the English/American style along with many many people. I'm sorry if I did not show the knitting part of this video in American style. Since the knitting piece isn't the focus of this tutorial, it probably slipped my mind.
