Sir, you ARE a lucky guy! Nice low-mileage bike you got. I have an '02; bought 7 years ago with 25K miles on it. it's my 8th bike in 45 years, and it's by far my favorite. Smooth, powerful, handles better than expected, solid on the highway, easy to customize. I use Honda semi-synthetic oil. I also kept the stock exhaust (I hate noise!), but added the triple tips which give it a better tone than the stock drone at highway speeds.
Remember that the proper way to check oil on the Valkyrie is to unscrew the dipstick, wipe it clean, and with motorcycle in the upright position reinsert the dipstick without screwing it in. Nice bike.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Yes i know, interesting thing about the valkyrie is that the dipstick is chrome and kinda shaped like a screwdriver. I like the valkyrie only wish it had a cobra exhaust
@@Drive315 ok great, just making sure that wasn’t the cause of your high oil level reading. I have a 98 with stock exhaust. I like the fact that they don’t blue and look like hell, like the aftermarket systems do.
Thanks for watching and subscribe ! I only sold mine because i had a storage problem with moving, and had 7 motorcycles at the same time. If i only had 1-2 bikes id definitely hang on to it longer!
I had a 2000 Valkyrie standard, best cruiser ever, I sold it but I may pick up another this year, they can carve corners pretty well for their size and will last 200,000 miles. Take care of the carbs if you store it for long periods of time.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I was very happy to own my Valkyrie, very precise and powerful engine. However, i was kinda forced to sell it! A guy showed up to take it away with a cattle trailer, hay and all inside! Stay tuned on my channel to see what other toys i end up getting!
Awesome Bike. I'm on my 3rd Valkyrie now. Just couldn't find a cheaper bike with as much power and reliability and comfort. I just picked up a 99 Standard that I've been working on. Cheers!
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Hey stay tuned on my channel i plan on making many videos with my valkyrie! I only wish it had a cobra 6 in 6 exhaust!
Thanks for watching and subscribe, tall windshields are actually real convenient especially if you’re a taller guy. Idk why you say it makes the bike a pig when it has no problem sprinting to 90+ mph, also has Much more wind protection than a small windshield
@@Drive315 I'm 6'4. Try with and without that windshield. I have a Memphis Shades quick detachable. The reason I know is I have tried 3 ways. Full Tourer, smaller Memphis Shades & naked. You don't hafta believe me just try it yourself and then buy me a beer. I rode from Montreal, Canada to San Antonio Texas when I first got it using the smaller shield. No discomfort at all. Sure it pulls up to high speed with the Tourer plough. Look at that engine! The handling will surprise you with the upgrade.
Nice bike , I have a 2004 Valkyrie rune. 64000 and counting. Your bike is a classic and durable, take care of it🥰
I have an 03 standard and it’s done 105,000kms. I only put the last 2500 on it but I like your video. Thankyou Mr Balboa 👍
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Are you saying i talk like rocky?

Great looking bike
Great video! I sold mine acouple years ago and totally regret it now. Like a classic muscle car, beautiful, powerful and strait up fun! Enjoy!
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
Im getting another honda muscle bike today, stay tuned to see what it it!
Love from DeKalb Mississippi USA 🇺🇸
Thanks for watching !
Only thing I didn't like about my Valk was it went through rear tires too fast. I reckon that's why a lot of people started putting car tires on them.
I took another ride with mine tonight, video coming soon!
Nice bike I have a 1998 valkyrie and love it to death

Cobras on mine. More noise, less power.
How many kilometers does it travel in 1 liter of oil?
I think you should add test drive to your tags
Will do
I'm looking at one now, what did you pay?
Mine is for sale, in NY state
@@Drive315 selling it already?
What brand windscreen?
Thanks for watching and subscribe, this is the stock windshield from honda that came with the “tourer” trim
Lose the giant windshield for a smaller one. Transforms the ride/handling. It's a real pig with that huge one.
I have a 100K on my 97.

Oops. Did't know you wanna sell it. Must be that windsield....😉
