Aaaw..Kerri Strug still has that little girl in her voice. 😉 I still get goosebumps whenever I see that clip of her AMAAAZING vault that cinched it for the team...and what a SUPERB team they were/are!!👏🏻
The best team USA gymnastics. No ego and just pure love. They uplift each other. I kinda stop watching gymnastics when they retired. AMY Chow's routines were always difficult.
Nice to see what the ladies are up to these days. They all still look great and it's nice to see that their lives are still going well. Amanda and her husband make such a cute couple too!!
I think that's the secret to winning gold because the 2012 team were very diverse as well and they won gold in London. The 2000 team was diverse as well and got bronze. It's very special to win team gymnastics on your home turf like US did in 1996, China in 2008, Russia and so on.
They look totally different now. Amazing! And they still have what it takes. I will never forget my 1996 Atlanta road trip. Took forever to drive down there when I was living in MD at the time and at first I was thinking that this whole trip wasn't worth it...but after seeing all the events it made me realize that I wasn't there to see the Olympics...I was there to part of history and that made the trip all worthwhile.
Yet they talk about gymnastics today like they're really something these women had it hard with hard rules to accomplish what they did back in those days was tough but all people talk about them girls of today in gymnastics please they got it very easy today with a smaller team and easier rules that they win so much that it over shadows what these women has done to pave the way for girls who got it easy today so I will always love the magnificent seven never forget who got you there today's gymnastics girls y'all are ok but these women put it all on the line
ok why does every interview say that carrie strug won the gold for the team they didnt even need her vault they were already so far ahead she could have walked off and still won
Montrosesister12 actually, they got VERY close to losing at the end. They were ahead for the first three rotations but the person who went before strugg fell on both of their vaults (I can't remember who, but obviously you can go back and watch it yourself). Simultaneously, the Russian team was gaining ground on floor. Then, Kerri fell on her first vault and hurt her ankle and it was clear that the only sticking the second vault would get the team the gold. Obviously, that happened.
Montrosesister12 apparently you didn’t remember Dominique Moceanu fell on each of her landings before Kerri. Kerri didn’t need the second vault, that was the fact. But she’s remembered as the one who landed on one foot her last vault.
@douceminey She's been very outspoken for the control they haver on USA Gymnastics selection comitee which has been very questionable since it has been discussed how tough they were with some former gymnasts like Emilia Eberle and Moceanu by not allowing them to eat properly, ignoring injuries, etc.
@rapturerogue I'm more familiar with sarcasm then you may even understand for yourself. I don't find anything you said to be sarcastic, I find it rather rude!
Dominique Moceanu shmeared the shit stains her father left on her life onto those who tried to give a damn about her -- like Bela. I don't buy the abuse line from her for a second bc none of the other students ever said anything of the sort. If he was an abuser, he would've done that w/ others like Mary Lou, Kerri and so on. Her parents milked their daughter and the situation for every possible cent they could, and evidently, she learned that too. That book is proof of that.
Still the BEST women's team in the history of American gymnastics!
Aaaw..Kerri Strug still has that little girl in her voice. 😉 I still get goosebumps whenever I see that clip of her AMAAAZING vault that cinched it for the team...and what a SUPERB team they were/are!!👏🏻
Over ten years had passed
In Amy Chow time that’s two months
The best team USA gymnastics. No ego and just pure love. They uplift each other. I kinda stop watching gymnastics when they retired. AMY Chow's routines were always difficult.

These girls now women are truly inspirational

Nice and clear talking interview.
I had a thing for Shannon Miller back then
@samuelflower maybe cause an olympic team is not selected based on race but rather ability
It's cool to see them do gymnastics now
DAWES!!!!!!!
Omg Kerri's voice ahahaa
I cry every time I see the Kerri's vault.
Hard to believe they are all grown up
Kerri still has a squeaky voice!

Montrosesister12... you're incorrect. it was close but they still would have won without Kerri's score on vault.
Moceanu fell twice.
Awesome 😎 Dawesome !!
@rapturerogue Moceanu isn't trying to kick the Karolyis out of the country! I think you're getting a lot of your information WRONG!
Anchor is beautiful, name plz
Thanks - I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that.
Gymnastics is like riding a bike. You might be a little rusty, but you always got it.
@douceminey She's been very outspoken for the control they haver on USA Gymnastics selection comitee which has been very questionable since it has been discussed how tough they were with some former gymnasts like Emilia Eberle and Moceanu by not allowing them to eat properly, ignoring injuries, etc.

No, it can't be. They're not Magnificent 7 now in the present. I'm scared of them.
3:11 In 2006, fate made Amanda Borden a gentleman's wife. 😃
who was that who interviewed them??
why Dominique Moceanu hates Bela and Marta??
This is not from 1997, it's from 2008

OMG don't Shannon Miller look different......
@rapturerogue I'm more familiar with sarcasm then you may even understand for yourself. I don't find anything you said to be sarcastic, I find it rather rude!
Morgan hurd's olympics gymnastics invidual coach amy chow.
태정수 Didn't know that. Not surprising. What happened to Chow's medical career?
태정수 well considering Hurd hasn’t been to the Olympics
Morgan’s coach is named Salva

AJ McCane what do you think about that now that all of the allegations of abuse and sexual misconduct among USAG coaches and doctors are coming out?
NaKoiPes he probably has no comment...because he ate his words.
This Guy is A JOKE!!
