I went there 2 years ago & wouldn't recommend TMT or PTT far to crowded, if you going south nearer to the aquarium you can find really good gyms with 1 to 1 training.
If you really want to get into Muay Thai, you need a small gym. Looking at your sparing, you are a beginner, with no experience. I went to Thailand several times, staying there for months. Stay away from big gyms, you need one on one a lot of attention.. Good luck with your journey...
I agree with you. Yes, this was my first time as a beginner. Will definitely do it again in the future, I am back in China so will probably continue here.
Sumalee is quite expensive. It cost me about 1200 usd for 2 and a half weeks. You get EVERYTHING included though, accomodation, great food etc etc. All in all, it is worth it.
@@vladdracula9586 I know there are some cheaper ones on fitness street that you can check out. However, if you are looking for serious value perhaps check out Pai or northern Thailand 😄

I trained at TMT in '08 and it was awesome then. Now it looks like it's gotten way too big.
Would you recommend going for a full month?
Definitely, if you can find the time, you can also find good deals for month-long stays as well.
Really helpful. Thank you for making this.
You're welcome, glad it was helpful for you! I'd love to go back again...
