This was by far the hardest challenge run I've ever attempted, and probably the hardest challenge run anyone has ever attempted in the history of gaming.

have you considered doing this but truly using ONLY the bloodhound fang, even for moving around? you'd have to aim with something like the telescope and then use the L2 to travel, dodge and attack

I've seen lesser streamers do "challenge runs" such as beating ER when all bosses are multiplied by 10 or beat all 165 bosses randomised without dying.
But beating ER with Bloodhound's Fang is truly what I would consider a REAL CHALLENGE. Congratulations!
I remember when I first used Blood Hound's Fang, my character kept hitting themselves with it instead of hitting the enemy, so I never thought in a million years anyone would be able to actually do a run with that "weapon." Crazy to see what amazing players like you can pull off!

I think this run shouldn't be counted, he did use the uchigatana at the start. He also used armor, flasks, kukris, etc. This whole run was just a stain on the whole speedrunning community tbh.
Had he truly used ONLY the bloodhound's fang it would have been legendary, as it is one of the most complicated weapons in the game.
What your suggesting is IMPOSSIBLE. You would need millions of hours of practice just to beat Ricks first phase

Bloodhound is clutch, I beat my first game with bloodhound all the way to the end. Idk why everyone is trippin. I thought it made it easy to beat. Someone please enlighten me to what is challenging about it…

New idea: Beating Elden Ring with *ONLY* Bloodhound's Fang. No talismans, no armor, no horse, no upgrades, no items other than those necessary to complete the game (i.e. Rold Medallion (for game completion), as well as Haligtree Medallion and Pureblood Knight Medal (if you do all rememberances))

That last fight against the Elden beast was so close! Came down to the wire. You literally were down to 7 flasks left! Amazing clutch victory!
This was pretty interesting. Bloodhound's Fang is definitely a niche weapon; its "Bleed" mechanic deals *percentage* based damage, but some bosses don't even have blood, so it doesn't even work on everything. Its Ash of War is pretty interesting, though; did you know if you press the input a second time, it *teleports?* Pretty unique stuff, not sure if the community has really explored the potential there.
Its funny this just popped up on my recommend cuz I'm about to finish my Starter club only run. Just malenia and mohg left. Love the video btw way and i how you do more challenge runs like this in the future ❤

I just recently beat the game for the first time, the BHF carried me through the whole game. I’m still using it as I’m running around beating bosses I haven’t beaten yet, probably going to take it into NG+ with me unless I find a better weapon/build I enjoy

Hope one day someone from Fromsoft sees this herculean feat of a run and buffs the Bloodhound Fang. Looks like a really fun weapon and would love to see it be more beginner friendly.
I know it would be almost impossible but I'm curious if there's a method to take on Rick with this setup.
Phase two would end the run but you might be able to get through phase 1.5.7. Maybe even .8 if you're astronomically lucky.

Before you use anything, ask yourself " is this Bloodhounds Fang?" If no, you can't use it.
