Yknow, I just realised how op super sonic is in combat. Other games have shown this in great detail but this one brought it to the limit. He does everything drum using his speed, to using chaos powers (sonic boom aka sonic wind, pseudo shadow clone,) tossing and throwing around the titans and lots more. (No spoilers) It kinda made me realise that sonic is just fine with super sonic in this game.

Honestly, my brain was on autopilot for pretty much the whole game up to this point. I wasn't too thrilled with the giganto fight, but when I got to this one my brain switched back on halfway through and was like "wait, this is actually pretty hype. No wait, this is REALLY hype." This whole fight single handedly hooked me into really enjoying the game.
This games bosses are just so much fun and cool if they keep the pace up then by the time the final boss arrives it’s going to be possibly my favorite of all time
I feel bad for this boss, it tries so hard only to get absolutely pummeled to scrap basically every attempted attack. It makes super Sonic look like a truly unstoppable beast and I love it!
I found out pretty early that you can parry the missiles and I chose not to use it. It was so much fun dodging through all the craziness and it made it extra rewarding to slam that bastard into the mountain.

Because when they hear it in their favorite video games they love it, but claim they hate it everywhere else. It’s all society programming.

The music is actually adaptive. That's on purpose. It's the second half of Breaking Through It All and it plays in the second phase, looped, just like how the first half is looped through the first phase.
You know what I’ve realized about the Titan boss fights? The songs that play aren’t the songs representing the titans, they represent Sonic he’s just gone super and he’s ready to completely demolish them. This is something Sonic games have done in the past like with Live and Learn and Fight the Knight, but they really knocked it out of the park in this game because Super Sonic isn’t fighting a boss YOU ARE THE BOSS FIGHT and these titans are. Going. Down.
9:20 I like how that last bit of HP in Wyvern's life bar disappears even before the missiles make contact, those few health points were like "yeah, that's a wrap"

I really like how Sonic decided to run away knowing he can't defeat him in his normal form, that makes him worth as a character (YES IM LOOKING AT YOU SONIC FROM FORCES AND COLORS)
Nobody use cyloop against titans. Against Giganto, it throws him, and if you do it again before he lands it stuns him on the ground. It has different effects for each titan. Try use cyloop on titans as Super Sonic. It is cool !
@@redfalcon8062 then try with the skill "quick cyloop" I landed it on Wyvern and some golden chains immobilize him. Sometimes it is hard to surround the boss correctly with Sonic because of the boss's size and the camera going crazy.

So many parts of this music somehow fits the boss fight too well one line stands out from the rest: "Don't Look Down" Like literally the first boss in the game that actually flies and even takes you a grand tour of the island as the backdrop "Sorry if it puts you in an imposition We won't stop-" Then time stops for a QTE wtf "what comes around, comes back around" Sonic Gathering all the missles and throwing it back to wyvern. also The finishing blow to wyvern involves aiming said missiles back into wyvern's mouth
I only just beat this fight so please no spoilers. But it seems that super sonic is struggling more and more with each boss. Almost like they’re leading up to something that he can’t handle. A new or returning form perhaps? (if not and it’s just super sonic in the end I’ll still be happy these boss fights are sick)
Spoilers: I thought the fourth titan fight was really good. And yes the true final boss was a bit weird but I wouldn’t call it anticlimactic. It was challenging (for me anyway) and the music was incredible. I wish there was one more super sonic right to wrap it up but I still enjoyed the true final boss
I think it’s needed. It’s usually when you do a super move and the game is telling you “catch a breath. Watch the awesome insanity here but keep your guard up when it finishes”

Then when i come close to him i avoid his attacks also with Q or e until the attack symbol appears so cian attack him. But in second phase i cant hit him yet
What will happen? A. The flying hedgehog wins B. The giant robotic dragon with giant claws, a 4 split jaw, and unlimited missiles that can fly and smack you with its tail
I went through probably 30 minutes without remembering that you can hold a parry I went through 30 minutes of pain and suffering trying to time the parry
i feel like there should have been some sort of in game combat reward for perfect timed parrys like if you perfect parry, time freezes and the damage output gets greatly increased
Dark Gaia is my favourite boss fight mainly cause of how cinematic it felt. Outside of phase one when you play as sonic, it’s basically a glorified QTE that’s really cinematic. Gameplay wise these are a massive step up. They ain’t perfect, there’s some jank and some cheese to beat them but it is still amazing for sonic standards
They were really inspired by the Sonic movie, the lightning and blue eyes with max rings, the sumo fights tend to look like the climax of the first movie, and of course, that scene you mentioned. Honestly, I like the references and I hope the movie and the games inspire each other without compromising Sonic.

This guy is my favourite boss in the game i miss him, he won't be flying around the second sialand anymore by spirit or Ghost type as i see him he connects with Jeff The Worm from Men In Black 2
I really didn’t have fun with this boss it took me 10 minutes to figure out what to do and even longer to actually get the parries cus I suck at it in total I took about 30 minutes but the boss theme and the amazing finish kept me going (and ofc to beat the game)

The form in Heroes IS Super Knuckles, he just looks different. In the files he’s called Super Knuckles and he still gets the power boost that other Super forms get. Even in 3&K Tails and Knuckles’ super forms are lesser than Sonic’s (just being a glow instead of a full transformation like Sonic gets), Heroes just decided to make their auras be the new version of the glow

Just hold L+R for parry you don't have to time it, it will make things easier

Does anyone know if you have to press the button a certain number of times at 8:00, just played the titan and even though I pressed the button it said to nothing happened and now I have to re start the whole battle…
You probably figured it out by now, but you only press it once, as the white line goes over the red one. Just like in the fishing minigame

The form in Heroes IS Super Knuckles, he just looks different. In the files he’s called Super Knuckles and he still gets the power boost that other Super forms get. Even in 3&K Tails and Knuckles’ super forms are lesser than Sonic’s (just being a glow instead of a full transformation like Sonic gets), Heroes just decided to make their auras be the new version of the glow
