Me and cousin drove long hall Trucking for 10 years. We got out in 2000 we both found different jobs. Yeah i still miss being out on road. But now it more young people job.

Been driving for over 3o years and not convinced this man has lived the life. Could be wrong but otherwise the girls in the video don't seem like they actually mean it either. It's like they are "fake waving" which is just so "off-putting". Again, I could be wrong and stand to be corrected but it's just not authentic. I did like the line about having driven more miles than most people have flown. Spells it out well. As an aside, Freightliner Cascadia is a hard riding utilitarian truck assigned to company drivers typically accompanied with felony history or atleast multiple misdemeanors. Cascadias are not as bad as the Freightliner Colombias were (which were and continue to be the ultimate convict-moblie) but definitely not a truck you'd spend time writing nostalgic about...unless you knew no better;) LOL 😅
My guess is you have a friend that is a brand new "driver", a convict or both;)
