    Porsche recommends a 3000 km-run in for the same engine (Panamera turbo S). I think, that it is important to deactivate the Start-Stop-function and to use a setting, that prevents the engine from running below 1500 rpm in the run in-phase. If you drive the Panamera in "comfort", the engine runs at about 1000-1400 rpm when driving normally. That is not ideal especially for a brandnew engine.

      Most of these Cars dont even drive 3000km in a year.
      Just bring them up to temperature and change the oil around 1000km and they will be good to go.

      True too low RPM is also really bad

    • @racerhoch3
      @racerhoch3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I would shift manually. Because there does not exist an other option i guess. In sport mode shifts would be too late. And you should also try to change rpm. So driving at same rpm for an hour for example is also not ideal actually.

    Based on my experience which is derived from some of the best engine builders experiences, the best way to break-in the engine is too do 10 or 15 times full-throttle, throttle release procedure.
    You lock the gearbox into 3rd or 4th gear, and then from 1300 or 1500 rpm you do it full throttle until to hit the rev limiter and then let off the throttle to let the engine return back to the 1300 or 1500 rpm.
    This way expands the rings and causing all hot points to flatten out because of the heat and then when you let off the throttle engine oil will cool down the moving parts.
    This create some kind of thermal cycling which improves the properties of the alloys.

    Urus shouts out the status of the buyer but what do you think about comparing X6M, RSQ8 and Urus...from the interior quality point of view? P.S. I feel like on the interior Urus is 75% a RSQ8.

    • @Pedroexoticss

      It really does feel a lot like an Audi but the quality is actually top notch just like Audi because is basically same shit lol but the car feels really premium and it’s very comfortable

    • @Automann-TV
      @Automann-TV  ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Of course the Plattform is the same as in an Audi RS Q8 but it still doesn’t feel like a Q8. The interior and driving capabilities are on a different level and this is probably the highest quality Lambo that has ever been made🤩

    the car looks gorgeous, tho I had a question , how is the colour matt green with the carbon hood , because on the configurator it removes it when you go with a matt colour. or is matt ppf done to it

    • @Automann-TV
      @Automann-TV  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am very sure the color is the matte paint option from factory and the front is additionally wrapped with kind of transparent PPF for protection. The carbon fiber hood is painted in matte green to a certain extend, at least this is what it looks like🤔

    Constant speed is a bad way to "run in" the car(video).
    Get the car to operating temperature. Then 40-60% acceleration from 1. to top gear, shift at 3000-4000rpm, then brake with 50% brake applied. Do this 10 times for 10 days with gradually increased acceleration. Cool down car after finished.
    Disc and brakepad bedding is a bit different.
