Given it’s a Lambo, there’s one thing we need to talk about first - the engine! Now it may be the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as you’ll find in the RSQ8, but trust us, this is the most powerful version of it you can get your hands on! As a result, produces 650hp & 850Nm of torque!
So it’s super powerful, and as you can imagine, it’s absolutely loaded with quality materials and tech throughout. Sure, the dash and infotainment system may resemble other VW Group SUVs, but its got a few additional touches so that you definitely won’t mistake it for anything other than a Lambo.

@@buzzofftoxicblog791 Most electricity is produced by burning fuel. Most transportation related pollution comes from ships and planes. ICE cars are not the main cause of pollution. Batteries are made from minerals. Mining burns lots of fuel. If cars were more reliable and people bought smaller cars with small engines everything would be better. Lots of people buy enormous SUVs that pollute a lot when they could do the same activities with a small hatchback. Its more eco friendly to keep older cars on the road than producing unreliable cars made to be leased that will break down in 4 years.

For being a stablemate of several other VW-brand SUVs, they did a good job of distinguishing the Urus from the others. Black doesn't show off some of the design details as would other colors which is a shame. If you have a car like this, it should have more visual impact. It used to be that sports cars were just that... cars, not high-riding 4-wheel drive utility vehicles, but now it's the norm. But 2.2 tons! Man, that has to be a lot of bulk to fling through the twistes. To me, the DBX is still the best looking SUV on the market, hands down. If I had a crazy amount of money to burn on one of these cars, that would be my first and only choice. I'd just set aside 60k for repairs and maintenance costs and extend the warranty. Can't imagine what a tune-up would set me back let alone an oil change. Scary.

The biggest thing with the Urus is the fact Yianni uses it daily, that says a lot! It's a damn good car for its class.

I think it's either the urus or a range rover. Those two seem to be the car of choice for many people

While some buyers might like the looks of larger diameter wheels/tires and aero bits these were not the combinations that the car was engineered around so traction, handling, ride quality and braking may not be optimized. Harder to draw truly meaningful apples to apples comparisons to other "showroom stock" performance SUVs.

could it be that the launch from 0 to 60 mph was affected by the large 24 inches wheels? I would say that smaller wheels are helping to transfer the power better vs speed with larger wheels.

When reviewing cars, I think you should always use a standard one. There was so many factors which effected its overall 0-60 time, such as the added aero and bigger wheels. Nonetheless, a real amazing car!

Although, I do love these super car, uber luxury or high performance spec car reviews. I do miss him reviewing some of the normal family cars, but I suspect the number of views are much lower so probably a thing of the past. It would be nice to have a bit of both.

Can you do the one review for KIA Seltos (top spec Diesel/Petrol)? Also if you could help with identifying which car headlamps are better and poor based on conditions (like during rain, wet roads, snow, wide lanes without markings, cornering on mountains etc.)
To get the the same VW 4.0 litre twin-turbo engine (albeit slightly down-tuned) but still rapid with high spec then the cost v performance v spec, I would suggest an Audi Vorsprong SQ8, rather than the RS. Still over £100k from new, but a banging piece of kit!

Mat can you address this problem with newer cars mate and maybe do a vid showing if it's true. Lots (and LOTS) of people claiming newer high performance cars, the performance is tailing off drastically within the first 30-50k miles rather than getting better as the engines and bearings free up a bit. Initially I was not inclined to believe it and just thought it was people who weren't getting the car maintained etc... turns out I was wrong and loads of good mechanical minded owners are as confused as I am as even going OCD on the maintenance matters not a jot, the performance still tails off. Some folk even claiming that a stage 1 on their 50k mile car barely beat the original bhp and NM output and just about made them responsive as they were when new. This needs investigated by someone with weight behind them Matt so don't leave it till Shmeee or some other soylord makes it public and makes it stick. If it is true then we must assume the engines and drivetrain are so cheaply made and strung out that they are now aging so rapidly it's beyond the pale. It needs exposed for all our benefit as they will continue to fleece us with British Leyland levels of build quality until a £100k car basically lasts 50k mile at most. I dont want to be about if that day comes so..
That's basically true I watched one of Tianna drag races on his own channel where he races his lamborghini urus vs another lamborghini urus with the sam wrap and wheels they where basically the same car but yianni still lost

I really can’t see why anyone would buy this it’s VW touareg/Audi q7 underneath. With a rs6 engine. For that price you would want at least a lambo engine. The mark up must be about 150k on each one

I mean honnestly and after this review between a RSQ8 and Urus i would still go with the Urus.
Not only because of the "brand" name but the agressive shape of it and specs.
Aside with the REZVANI TANK and RR SPORT SVR these 3 are my dream.
Id prefer if you review stock Cars... i know that they are hard to come by if it is a more exclusive car, but thats what I like :)
