I’m so glad cancel culture is starting to get canceled, because there’s literally no point in it. As we’ve seen here cancel culture clearly doesn’t even result in any actual justice. So there’s literally no point, it’s just bullying on steroids. It does nothing to people with actual power, and destroys people that are already vulnerable and often times don’t even deserve it.
Cancel culture actually refers to cancellation for opinion, when it becomes a matter of action it is now criminal. If the action is not criminal then there is no issue.
Not that I am defending cancel culture I hate cancel culture but I would’ve said it’s only cancel culture when it’s a matter of opinion

As a member of law enforcement, James TERRIFIES ME. He's the predator who thinks he's in the right. My theory is that James was aware that his fanbase was old enough to turn on him once he inevitably fucks up, and that’s why he aligned himself with all the TikTokers and Charli and those goofs so he could steal their mindless child fanbase. I'm not allowed to report anything. A recent account showed literal SA of a small child and Tik Tok wouldn't allow reports on it. In fact, the profile picture was a gif of the SA.

I don't know the law in the US, I worked with child protection and usually the victim will have to come forward to the police or divulge the information to a mandatory reporter eg a social worker, appropriate adult, teacher etc or a report would have to be filed with social services then an investigation and if that is upheld a criminal investigation will proceed and again if upheld the perpetrator will be placed on the child protection register as an offender. It can be a lengthy process and the offender register is not public. Therefore an offender can be housed beside children but their data is protected by law and the system puts the trust in them not to reoffend and parents and guardians are left completely unaware of the danger posed to their kids. Ridiculous. Again no idea of US law.

Like if you sign up and you’re 18 and over, you’ll never see profiles of people aged under your own until they are of legal age. Otherwise what’s protecting these kids if not their own parents who should be looking out for them.
