@Chris C nah, the decentralisation of crypto provides a real strong use case, taking power out of the hands of corrupt states, banks, corporations etc. and giving it to regular people. With the world becoming more and more fucked by the day, owning a major crypto asset now is like having oil at the beginning of the industrial revolution

Moons of Jupiter: Europa, Io, Ganymede, Callisto
Moons of Mars: Deimos and Phobos
(Mars’ moons were likely captured asteroids)

Could you show me a scientific publication where the Moon is called Luna? I looked through three Wikipedia entries and also half a dozen of their respective references and only ever found the name Luna when the soviet moon missions where mentioned.

I guess it’s Latin based, but there’s a reason all missions to the moon are called Lunar. The words Lunacy and Lunatic are both referring to the moon. I personally usually call it the moon, you can call it Luna if you want. The main point is that other planets do have moons lol.

Actually astronomers refer to moons orbiting other planets as moons. Sure a moon is technically a “satellite”, but, no one calls it that lol. Yes, ours is THE moon, but they’re technically both right. Ethan is slightly wrong on this though lol.

Exactly, ethan is right in that a celestial body orbiting a planet is technically called a satellite, but they can also be called moons. Like the different moons of the planets in our solar system. Surprised he knows the term satellite but hasn’t heard of say Neptune’s moons.

Has anyone noticed that Ethan has developed a vocal tick where he makes a noise at the end of a sentence like a gulp or exhale, i think it came from mimicking Trisha when she would do a little moan/high pitched exhale at the end of a sentence. He never did it before. He does it a lot in the recent short Ryan Kavanaugh correction video advised by his lawyers.
