    What a lovely set up, Marion! I liked the video too. I've had comfrey for about a year now, and I've only mostly used it as a chop and drop. I must get to using it in other ways too. One quick q - why are you particular about keeping the fan going 24/7?

      In my experience, keeping air moving across seedlings is the #1 way to prevent damping off. Make sense?

    Why do you put the seedlings under light? Will natural window light work too?

      Like children, seedlings need lots on energy. For them, light. Window light is rarely enough to prevent tall, leggy and weak seedlings-especially in late winter to early spring when day length is still short-ish - unless you supplement with good reflectors or additional light; and rotate your seedlings. 🌱 16-18 hours of light each day is ideal.
