@ I’m working on the idea that I’m a photojournalist covering my life. The key is to try and live an interesting life! I want to work towards some conceptual photography which I’ll begin in the Spring. Check out my channel, some vids of my work up there. More to come! Environmental portraits video with the Mamiya 7ii up next!
Great video! The pics are so beautiful, so much details and great colour. I have just started my medium format journey, having picked up a Rolleiflex last week. Even though I have my doubt on the 6x6 format, I'll give it a try, knowing that the Rolleiflex would produce good pics. The Mamiya 7 would be on the top of my list should I get hooked on medium format. I have never visited the camera shop in Delft but a quick check shows that it would cost 4000 to 4500 for a good one with a wide angle lens. If I want an 80mm lens for taking portrait the cost would add up steeply. Thanks again for the nice video.
Thanks a lot mate! That roleiflex is a beautiful camera and I think you’ll enjoy it for sure. 6x6 is incredible, but you have to love it. I do lol 😂. The mamiya 7 has a hefty price for sure.. so you’ll need to be sure about that before buying it. I would recommend using the rolleiflex for a while and after that see if it’s worth it or not! Have fun 🙏🏼
Great video! I love my m7, I've shot a few on location editorials with it. Worked great as long as I kept the model in the very central of the frame. I have a pentax 67ii also now, which I now use for this kind of on-location run and gun editorial shoot. Closer minimum focusing, Matrix metering, slr field of view & focusing for off center focusing, a larger lense selection like a fisheye etc make it a bit more suited for this kind of thing. Although the larger size and the slower loading due to the socket spools is a downer. So for me of course it can be used for portraits and fashion, however a p67, rb67, hassie are normally better suited. These days I use my Mamiya 7 whenever I just go for something unplanned like a wander on the weekend, Its also the 120 camera for me when I travel, shoot landscape, epic urban/city scenes etc. The price hurt, but I don't think I'll ever sell mine.
Yeah in the end I think you can use it for anything. But some are just better suited for other purposes. It’s such a good camera so I might consider it still!
Great video, completely agree. Only thing I dont like about it…especially compared to the hasselblad…is that it has the MOST unsatisfying shutter click ever!
Ah sad to hear! Don’t know where you can get one of those. But if you live in the Netherlands you can go to Fotohandel Delfshaven for service and repairs.
I’ve committed to mine! Such a joy to shoot, always exciting to take out.
Nice! What kind of work do you shoot with it?

Btw. Always a good idea to check out the store in Delft. It’s beautiful 😍
I'm considering to rent one for a week. Looks amazing.
Yeah do that! The best way to see if this camera works for you!

amazing video thank you
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching!

Thanks mate! Yes it’s not satisfying at all. But that also brings some positives with it. Low shutterspeeds and all.
Had an accident with mine and cracked the outside glass of the viewfinder. Does anyone know where I could procure a replacement piece of glass?

@@TIPSinc01 Thanks, friend. I'm out of Chicago, Illinois these days. It'll get sorted out in time, thanks for the recommendation all the same!
@ hopefully you’ll get it fixed soon!
Great video! To expensive indeed...
Thanks a lot! Yes it’s a lot of money. But I do understand those who buy it.
@TIPSinc01 Indeed, great images you've got there!
@@studiojege287 thanks a lot mate!
Worth every penny, would buy a second body without any questions if you're using it for work.
What kind of work do you shoot with it?
