Stunning way to finish off a board! Really like that you show the mistakes/recovery. That jig is very cool. Well thought out. One of the images in the outro appeared blue…is that dye?
Thank you very much! I didn't use dye, I think it looks blue due to me not color grading the video, one of the many editing skills I have yet to learn!
The quilted effect is awesome, I particularly liked the way you compensated at the center point of each side with your smaller detail diamond at the center point. Going to have to try this after you helped me get the first steps figured out to try my version or your steps on IG. Thanks again for stepping up and challenging us makers out there to think beyond, way beyond normal edging of a cutting board. You'll figure out the editing as you make more videos, keep it up, Joshua.
Nice work on the process and trial and error. End result looks fantastic. Feedback on the video - audio is not ideal bc your voice comes in very soft then goes to loud music then back and forth.
Please don't change-you are on the verge of rising fast with your ideas! Don't lose your creativity as you acquire more sophisticated tools. I love your family and backyard footage. This is real stuff!
Cool-looking edge treatment! I dig it
Thank you so much!
Excellent work. Your patience led to a great finished product.
Thank you! 👍
Can't wait to try this!

@@CraigLafferty thank you so much 🙏
I liked when you drilled a hole in the table cloth! 😂
I drilled it into my table saw actually! Even better
Maybe I missed it but what type of bit did you use to cut the diamonds/tufted pattern?
There is a link for the bit in the video description
