- Some may say I’m an empath
Some say I am the spawn of Satan and his wrath.
Some may say I’m a “people reader”, or a “people pleaser”
Some say I am this person they go to for a reliever.
I am just a kid who grew up in this new generation.
The same generation who can’t use the right your and protest education.
I’m a girl who lost her middle school years to COVID,
And I write about my own experiences and have you wonder:
Wow, have I had no original experience before? This is too vivid.
We LMAO this and skull emoji that,
We comment, Why aren’t you like me?
Come on, let’s fight, where u at?
Let’s just let the mentally ill be,
And advocate for being free!
I am healing
I will be a better person, not for you, but for me,
And wow, how dare you say that, we’re not friends anymore, go on now, be free.
My self help videos will guide me and i’ll leave school..
What kind of person should I come back as? Mysterious and cool?
My hair isnt hairing today, makeup wont makeup and this school air does me dirty.
What aesthetic are you? Do you listen to underground music? God, I’ll be single until im thirty.

Side note:
Hope you enjoyed my poem! I’m not trying to make fun of the new generations, this is no offense to anybody. It’s simply my understanding and perspective on my everyday environment. The ending paragraph are real things people have said to me quite a lot, and are so simple, but have so much meaning in so many different scenarios, and you’ve probably had similar.
