Though its a bit smaller than I'd like, the Diadem/Pitt Minion typesetting is very very nice. If they make a Diadem for the NASB 2020, I'd still be tempted to buy one. The ribbons in the brown calfskin look almost coppery. I like Cambridge's copper red with brown covers.
My favorite EDC bible (NASB, ESV). Surprised CSB was the next translation to come to the Diadem, not surprised due to its gaining popularity. Need this in NKJV!
Thanks for this review, Randy. May I ask what is your favorite Study Bible? I’ve seen your Top Bibles video but I would like to know your favorite Study Bible…
I’ve been wondering, how does Cambridge paper feel compared to Schuyler? I got a Schuyler RSV & the quality of the paper is just incredible. I never figured I was a fan of smooth paper, but it’s smooth in a way that feels silky instead of as if an artificial coat had been applied. I got the NRSVue Premier collection bible and while it’s fantastic (their goatskin cover actually feels much plusher & more inviting to me than Schuyler’s), it doesn’t match the Schuyler in terms of the text presentation or paper feel. I’m wondering if I can ignore the Cambridge NRSVue Diadem or if I’m going to end up wanting one.
I want to ask about the handling of all these floppy soft cover bibles: How convenient it is to hold them in one hand and read, coz the pages definitely gets rounded and it seems we have to open up our palm wide to let the pages straight. There maybe a difference in different bibles perhaps, so you can compare that as well. I guess most people read it just by holding it in hands or sometimes just one hand.
That's common for anything edge-lined; especially Bibles with a thick spine. This is why I like thinner Bibles. I actually prefer paste-down because it allows the spine to rise higher when the Bible is opened, flattening the page as much as possible. These covers don't feel that floppy.
do explain those terms in the videos: edge lined, paste down. Anyway, though i have not held a thinline or such bibles, I think the hard cover bibles (ESV church bible) are more convenient for reading by holding in the hand. Also, if you can get the NABRE New American Bible: Revised Edition: The Leading Catholic Resource for Understanding Holy Scripture. And the NABRE NT first communion version, then do review them; and anything with Apocrypha like the ESV diadem apocrypha. @@BibleBuyingGuide
Randy, are you aware that you're the only one (as far as I know) to present a first look of the CSB Diadem? And I don't see it for sale anywhere on the usual suspects websites. It doesn't even appear on Cambridge's website in the UK (but then again, neither does the NASB2020 Topaz). So how do you rate? Come clean here, Randy - do you have a good friend or relative at Cambridge?? Can they get me a discount? Lol!
Hi Guy!! I usually wait before showing one until the publisher is ready for me to show it. I knew a lot of people were waiting to see the CSB Diadem, ao I decided not to ask them this time and go ahead and post it. They might get mad at me for it, but I decided to live on the edge this time. lol
i'm about to unbox mine!
Awesome! I'm sure you'll love it.
Finally! Been waiting for this for quite some time. Hope it will be for sale soon, and look forward to your full review. Thanks, Randy!

Another wonderful video. Thank you.

Excellent review like always.

I'd love this in NKJV!!
Excellent work,Randy. Blessings for you and yours.🌹⭐🌹
@@BrendaBoykin-qz5dj thank you!!
@@BibleBuyingGuideMe too! I'd also like to see a Diadem NLT.
Beautiful Bible and the CSB is my main translation but the print looks a little too small for my aging eyes.
I have a thinline, wide margin and a personal size single column. Wish I could do 8.2 font, but that’s a no go for me.
Nice. But I do not like red letters.
Good, because I like red letter text.
Thanks for this review, Randy. May I ask what is your favorite Study Bible? I’ve seen your Top Bibles video but I would like to know your favorite Study Bible…
Hi. I'm planning a video to cover my top study Bibles, but my favorite is teh Thompson.
@@BibleBuyingGuide thank you so much for your reply. I’m excited to watch your top study bibles video. Thanks, Randy!

Cambridge and Schuyler use the same paper.
@@BibleBuyingGuide darn! 😂

Any idea when an NIV is coming out in this version?
They haven't announced it yet.
@@BibleBuyingGuide To your knowledge, do you know if there are plans for it? Hoping that there will be.
@engthens1447 yes. They plan to produce a Diadem for the main translations that have a Pitt Minion.
@@BibleBuyingGuide I just thought about it, but do you know if they are going to release an NIV for Topaz soon?
Where can I buy one?
Qs:
1) Is the CSB line matched? is the ESV?
2) Is the font a bit thicker on the CSB or is that just my imagination?
Thanks for the questions. I'll check and be sure to include this in the review.

@@BibleBuyingGuideWell, I was very glad to see the new Diadem. Keep up the great reviews, Randy - and thanks!
I’m hoping for a KJV Diadem.
Me too!!
KJV Diadem would be great, especially if it had the Thomas Nelson inline glossary like in the Sovereign.
Are the ribbons red or orange?
It's a reddish/orange.
which church decided Bible canon?
Eastern Orthodox
Looking forward to the full review! Seems nice!
