Great job editing this video, reasons like this give me a small reminder how difficult it can be to make something that takes so long to make for only 11 minutes.
A day will come where real actors will not need perform they will be virtually created in CG. Hats off to Nolan who still shooting most of those visually spectacular scenes for real.. In my opinion how much the visual effects are improved it will look like visual effects, it can never replace the authenticity of reality. The audience might not tell the difference but in their sub conscious mind they know the difference between which is real and which is CG..
This only shows, unfortunately, how CGI has overloaded movies these days at the expense of character development and story. No wonder the Joker movie was so amazing. While I have no idea if they even used CGI, that's the point, I didn't even notice because Joker was all about the incredible performances and engrossing story line, not overdone CGI explosions and extended action sequences.
I love practical and cgi combo. Especially like the one use in scary stories and dumbo. Cgi may be great but it cannot totally replace that human characteristic in every movie. Humans have unique flaws hence being too perfect might seems cgi
