TTC Orion III Ikarus 6377 & 6405 (June 10th, 2003) FINAL DAYS OF SERVICE!

This cellphone video, recorded by Felix Tse (used with permission) shows two TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) Orion III Ikarus articulated buses (6377 and 6405) turning north from Finch Ave E on to McCowan Rd in Scarborough on June 10th, 2003.
6377 is on route 39C FINCH EAST EXPRESS while 6405 changes it’s flip dot sign from 39A FINCH EAST to NOT IN SERVICE during it’s turn.
These buses, along with the rest of TTC’s remaining Orion III buses were retired exactly 10 days later on June, 20th, 2003.

That’s right, I remember seeing tons of both during my visits to Ottawa with family between 1998 and 2003. I also remember seeing some the ex TTC Orion IIIs that Toronto sold to Ottawa when the 1996 Orion V Lifts began replacing them circa 1996.

@@JamesH-wv9uw I remember the ex-TTC ones and that explained why the seats were different. They had chocolate covered fiberglass seats instead of the traditional pink soft cushioned seats.
