You won't see a group of poor people eating 5 pound lobsters anytime soon in the USA or the west anywhere. They're probably paying what would amount to around $2 fifty for this. You can hardly get a candy bar for that much money in most us cities.
I lived in Hua Hin for 6 months......... I ate this food, too many times to count, and at a dozen restaurants..... Seafood is very prevalent, all over Hua Hin It's in my top 3 cities in Thailand.........
Such a shame to eat this animal To have that size, they live between 8 or 10 years... They a are just cut and throw into a grill... Sorry to write this, I don't want to blame your comment but I have just watch "abyss" movie... That's why I am telling you this... It's a natural wonder and we eat it for just 5 minutes of pleasure...
I was there before fkn pandemic, amazing food, nice price and damn tasty!. Highly recommended going in Huahin, quieter than Pataya; I hope I can come back there soon again.
Even though the giant sea bugs frighten me, I love these videos because of the feeling of being there. The sounds and all. The way it is on the other side of the world... to me at least.

Honestly by watching this and by the size of those lobsters, just one alone will fill me up for the day.
Surprisingly, seafood is not that filling. I wa able to eat 3 of those all by myself, despie not being a big eater!

Hua hin is basically a retiree haven... lots of grandpas with 18 year old local girls wanting pocket money.
