    People don’t realize the impact SOAD had on rock music. They were on of the first major bands to try something new. No one at the time sounded like or even sound like them now. They made music that will forever be recognizable as “Oh that’s System of Down”

      wow, interesting. That sentiment almost perfectly mirrors a lyric from Sugar:
      "You know that every time I try to go
      Where I really wanna be
      It's already where I am
      'Cause I'm already there!!!!!!!!!!!!"
      Except of course he substitutes himself with a location, probably a metaphor. My rewrite:
      You know that every time I try become,
      Who I really want to be,
      It's already who I am,
      Cos' I'm already me!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😅

    Man, surprised I can hear there is virtually no acoustic treatment in his studio? 0_o

    • @JunkBondTrader
      @JunkBondTrader 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      well acoustic treatment isn't necessarily about damping reflections as much as possible. There are silent vocal rooms for that, which damp everything, and it's usually undesirable. It's more about creating a nice acoustic response. This to me, sounds like a heavy high end ambient room. It is quite dramatic, but I bet that audio signal edits very nice and easy. Where a bedroom reflections sound cluttered, boomy and creates phase cancellation.
      edit: just realized you must be speaking about the parts where he is standing. Yeah that is a little much lol. Very sibilant.
