I went today to Bath and Body Works and smelled the demoned Blueberry Maple Pancake candle and how Saf describes it couldn't prepare me to what actually smelled like, it smacked me right and my nostrils, and the scent went deep into my brain
I have only been in a BABW a few times on vacation since they don't have them in my country, and the first thing I did when I entered was search for the demon blueberry pancakes. They did not disappoint...
True... kinda frustrating to watch when a lot people can't hardly afford to buy from Bath body works. I hope she moves on to other content soon because shes so funny and entertaining.

To be fair the maple blueberry candle us sk strong it should be classified a weapon....I put in an order of 15 candles for my birthday last candle day....when my mailman delivered it he straight up asked if I'd ordered apple pie from one of those fancy bakeries that ship across the country...so that blueberry scent was do strong it read through, a snuggly placed metal lid, 14 other candles and their scents, being *UNDER* the other candles in the box, and heavy duty packaging that they always do such a great job at in terms of securing the fragile (glorious gift from heaven..) products .. And you could still smell that blueberry madness in a 15 foot radius of the offending box lol

I love how thorough this is. It’s not just hey, i sat in my house all day and melted a bunch of candles together, it’s that plus I sorted over 100 candles, counted how many times each type of scent was used, got the expert opinion of a candle maker, and resniffed all 117 candles to analyze the final product.

Also, as another commenter pointed out, she could definitely burn one candle for longer than a day. (I dunno about _”3 months”_ like they said though.) So, yeah, 5,886 candles would last a looong ass time. Hahaha. I’ll try my best to break it down, but I’m not very good at math, so please bear with me. Let’s say, rather conservatively, that each candle only lasts her two weeks. (Which is pretty conservative as I’m _sure_ each candle would last a good while longer than that. But we’ll go with it ‘cuz it makes the math a touch easier! Haha.) Anyway, at 2 weeks per candle, that’s 2,943 weeks. There are, approximately, 52 weeks in a year. Sooo, that would last her, roughly, 56 1/2 years. Saf is 27, so at 2 weeks per candle, 5,886 candles would last her until she’s 83. (Which she’ll, hopefully, live well beyond.) Having said _all_ of that, I truly think that each candle would probably last her closer to a month. Now, if that ends up being the case then, yes, 5,886 candles would _definitely_ last her a lifetime. (Unless Saf lives to be 140 years old, which is pretty doubtful! Haha.) If she were to _somehow_ use each candle up in a day, (By, I dunno, dumping out all of the hot wax as it burns for some weird reason.) Then they would only last her until she’s 43, or for 16 years. *Please note that it’s very likely that I messed up on the math somewhere, somehow and I’m totally wrong. But it is what it is. This is, no kidding, the 7th or 8th time I've watched this video. I go around safia's videos every few months or so and this one is ALWAYS a highlight. The visual of all the candles lit on their counter is just...*chef's kiss*

I can't believe how much time got into this video! First editing the whole thing, then putting the name next to EVERY candle you scooped, while getting the right shot. Going upstairs to smell it, taking another day to ask strangers for their opinions, smelling EVERY candle to match the scent and in the end asking an expert . Everyone needs to appreciate all of the time and work it takes to make these videos, especially ones like these!! Safiya has to do the work to make the video possible and then she has to voiceover the whole thing. She makes sure we have all of the information like the names of them, the count, the different categories and etc. she also has to make sure she doesn’t repeat. And she does this all with a smile on her face!! I feel like everybody needs to think about the little things :) Edit: Thank you guys for agreeing! Former Bath and Body Works employee here. That nose blindness aspect is so real when you first start working there. After a few weeks you get this super power where you can still distinguish smells after being in the store for hours on end.

These videos are so satisfying. The methodology. The data collection and presentation. The fact that I can learn the results without having to do any of this tedious labor or spend an insane amount of money. Its no wonder Saf and Cris are friends. They are both total data nerds and science queens!

You should definitely name it 'Frankenscents', as it's a pretty Christmassy candle as well as a Franken-scent, so it makes a pun on Frankincense (from one of The Three Wise Men).
I don't know why but I expected Safiya to just get a big tub and mix all the candles by just taking them out of their containers and removing the wicks and just putting them in the pot as a whole. But it would be more difficult to execute so the melon baller idea was much more efficient.
I clean houses for a living, one of my clients had the blueberry maple pancake three wick. She lit the candle while we were cleaning. I could smell it EVERYWHERE in her 6,000 square foot home. SIX THOUSAND. And it basically gassed me out of the room it was lit in. I like the scent, but I only buy it in the single wick, to contain its power
You know how they have that candle brand (Homesick) that has a scent for all of the 50 states? If she melted down all 50, we'd know what America smells like.

So, yeah, 5,886 candles would last a looong ass time. Hahaha. I’ll try my best to break it down, but I’m not very good at math, so please bear with me.
Let’s say, rather conservatively, that each candle only lasts her two weeks. (Which is pretty conservative as I’m _sure_ each candle would last a good while longer than that. But we’ll go with it ‘cuz it makes the math a touch easier! Haha.)
Anyway, at 2 weeks per candle, that’s 2,943 weeks. There are, approximately, 52 weeks in a year. Sooo, that would last her, roughly, 56 1/2 years. Saf is 27, so at 2 weeks per candle, 5,886 candles would last her until she’s 83. (Which she’ll, hopefully, live well beyond.)
Having said _all_ of that, I truly think that each candle would probably last her closer to a month. Now, if that ends up being the case then, yes, 5,886 candles would _definitely_ last her a lifetime. (Unless Saf lives to be 140 years old, which is pretty doubtful! Haha.)
If she were to _somehow_ use each candle up in a day, (By, I dunno, dumping out all of the hot wax as it burns for some weird reason.) Then they would only last her until she’s 43, or for 16 years.
*Please note that it’s very likely that I messed up on the math somewhere, somehow and I’m totally wrong. But it is what it is. Also, please don’t ask me why I felt the need to do all of this. I guess I’m just that bored right now. LOL.*

Everyone needs to appreciate all of the time and work it takes to make these videos, especially ones like these!! Safiya has to do the work to make the video possible and then she has to voiceover the whole thing. She makes sure we have all of the information like the names of them, the count, the different categories and etc. she also has to make sure she doesn’t repeat. And she does this all with a smile on her face!! I feel like everybody needs to think about the little things :)

I don't know why but I expected Safiya to just get a big tub and mix all the candles by just taking them out of their containers and removing the wicks and just putting them in the pot as a whole. But it would be more difficult to execute so the melon baller idea was much more efficient.

My mom has the blueberry maple pancakes in a hand soap and I can confirm that it smells STRONGLY of artificial blueberries
I clean houses for a living, one of my clients had the blueberry maple pancake three wick. She lit the candle while we were cleaning.
I could smell it EVERYWHERE in her 6,000 square foot home. SIX THOUSAND. And it basically gassed me out of the room it was lit in.
I like the scent, but I only buy it in the single wick, to contain its power
