I went there when I was a kid in the 80's and still go regularly. I had no trouble getting there from where I lived in Wembley, by 182 bus. There are at least 12 buses that will take you right to the door. I have fond memories of going to BX with my parents, the fountains where lost children met their relieved parents (which have now gone) and working a part-time job there as a teenager. There's still a special place in my heart for Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
Charlie would you consider doing a top ten movie/TV show video. Would love to hear about what you watched growing up and still enjoy. I need something good to watch this summer 😁
Lol very late I know but I am thinking of going through my DVDs and saying what comedy (I have more comedy series dvds than other types) very soon... like this week probably.
I used to go there with my mum back in the 70s and 80s. It was absolutely rammed with people back then. That car park in front of John Lewis was complete bedlam and very difficult to find a parking spot. I think it was the first mall to be built outside the USA. It is strange to see it so empty now.
Is it just me or is the audio really low on this video? I’ve got the volume at the highest on my iPad and can barely hear? It’s just this video, all others seem fine?
Been to Brent Cross, was a right faff to get from the tube station, Yes everything was crumbling around the roads and the underpasses stank of wee. Agree about John Lewis, the one there is particularly off brand and dilapidated. Anyway, great video Charlie, Take care and stay safe :)
Just have been to this mall today and it really needs a revamp on it. Old style shop layout and just only have a bus stop as the most convenient public transportaton in there. Elevator was even out of order during peak time. Not worth for a visit at all...

What a state of affairs... and it's a bit creepy walking there... can't they do the grass and weeding it looks in a bad state of repair and it's an accident waiting to happen... the state of the road 😱
