I'm super excited to pick this up today. I've been looking for a giant horse as the focal piece in my graveyard scene. I always put red lights and headstones and lots of other things. This year I'll have a fog machine too. It's gonna be great :) edit: I'll sew the clothing to the skeleton to keep it more hidden.
Everything thing you said is spot on! Great review! My skull started making a weird loud noise and SVI has no replacement parts so I have to exchange it for a new one once I can find it in stores.
minor details. THE LOOK of this piece is what matters. NO animatronics will be 100% mobile it will be too expensive. But the impressive looks of it, I believe the best gigant to date. The info you gave though helps me plan ahead 😊 I will add some ribbon to connect the jacket together and will make sure to get someone to help me put it together since you say it is annoying. I don’t know why the pieces don’t simply SNAP together, home depot engineers should come up with a better way
It is passable. Mod it from there to your liking. Better clothes. Better lights on the horses face. Add animation to the front two legs. Put some wheels on it and have it go up and down your driveway.
Hot take, but in my opinion, the ultra posable skeleton eyes don't really work on this guy. I think the old posable skeleton's eyes would work better with him.
I love this guy's look, concept, and phrasing so much but I can say the exact same thing with the Lowe's 12ft Scarecrow. I wanna possibly get one on sale, and I have the Levitating Reaper. I just don't know who would look better with Levitating Reaper and who would be a better buy overall. As someone who shares similar options to you, and since you have all three, I thought I'd ask your opinion!
My at home store got the 20 foot tree in today. I’m going to pick it up tomorrow and film the review on it next week will you be purchasing the 20 foot Halloween tree
@@HappyHalloweenerz I'll tell you it's a bit harder to choose than I'd have thought after expressing my thoughts on the Dullahan. The Reaper *is* better especially for each of their pricetags, but both have wow-factor.
3 animations a huge horse and a lifesized character on top. Built in lighting and the fact that the whole prop is detailed and is standing on two legs creating an illusion that it is a real horse.
@@scorchedevil9669 Not including price The Reaper's Ride is my all-time favorite horseman I won't deny that. But it originally sold for like $500 which is too tough of a pill for me to swallow.
@@scorchedevil9669 I have reapers ride and this Dullahan. Animation wise the reaper is way better, but I had to pay $600 for mine from walmart last year, so it makes sense that this one is the price that it is. Also I think the clothes on the dullahan and general details are a lot better than the reaper. I definitely wish it had more or better animation, but also really happy with his size! Overall I am quite pleased with the Dullahan
I just watched another guy's take on this prop and he had some of the same issues. www.youtube.com/@Frightman At least yours had sound. Frightman's didn't work.
Garbage manufacturing. Bought it. Neck will not slide into rib cage. Metal slot on rib cage size is WAY off angle. When sliding neck metal tube into rib cage metal tube, the neck plastic is about 30 degrees off. Bottom of neck plastic hits first, top of plastic is over an inch away. Plastic will not go any further. Looks like metal tube in rib cage is grossly tilted down. Will not move or adjust. Didn't expect Home Depot's most expensive prop to be so poorly manufactured. #homedepot

Just delivered your Amazon package and saw your TH-cam channel on your car. You got some cool videos on here. Keep it up bro!
NO WAY! Haha thank you so much. Hope to see you again with more awesome pieces in the driveway!
Wow didn't realize the horse had so little mvmt!!! Glad I have original that has so much more going for it. Great review!
This and Levitating Reaper are the best this year at HD
@ImAnIdiot5000 Still better than whatever Spirit's gonna put out.
@LilPig500 bru the wind will blow his clothing

Got it for 189 so I consider that a good buy for me 😊 it’s looks awesome at night

Great review man, hope to get mine this weekend!
Not Home Depot but At Lowe’s they have a pirate animatronic and the bone collector for sell just wanted to tell you I’m a big fan ❤
I got one just a second ago. I’m headed home rn

dude ur voice is deep now
😂
My levitating reaper doesn’t have Velcro on the head either but it has it on the hood.
Must just be manufacturer defect because my Reaper has velcro on head

Well he is COOL as heck. Wonder what he looks like at night.
Frightman has a night demo of this prop

I wonder if HD/Seasonal Visions ever considered giving his voice a bit of an Irish brogue... Robert Shaw type, maybe...
I have gotten a couple this year and both boxes were damaged as well.
How did you get yours to talk? Mine lights up but I’m not sure if I connected everything right.
You just saved me $300 I was really thinking on getting this & ordering it but after this review I’m glad I’m not going to order it
The Sam’s Club globe is available. Are you going to get it?
I will, but right now it's not the best time for me to drop $300 on a Christmas item. That thing is spectacular though.
Question, are you going to get the Sam’s Club floating spider inflatable
Likely not.

Not after seeing it has LEDs. So disappointing.
@@INFLA it does I’m not going to get it then if it does
Are you getting the levitating reaper?
My next review. 😎
@@INFLA nice I was waiting! Lmk which you prefer because I’m choosing between the two

more like 149
