I grew up hearing this folk song, but it never ever moved me. Until I heard Pelageya's version of it. Man. I cry every time I listen to it. It is so fucking epic. Especially when she sings the part about the wind. Ooof, get shivers every time. She did an excellent job of the arrangement by adding the guitar and rock elements. This performance was incredible!!! I thought it couldn't get better (I only ever heard the studio version) but it fucking did. Thank you for this reaction, guys!

Когда то западные песни, жвачка и джинсы разрушили СССР... что - скажете не так? мы не имели возможности свободно обмениваться культурой, а запретный плод всегда сладок... И теперь я хочу, что бы и мир мог услышать наши песни, нашу музыку... Не все же только их слушать... Может и толк будет от этого...Запад привык слушать только англоязычную музыку, а вот теперь через инет начинает слушать музыку мира на всех языках... Может и это поспособствует когда нибудь миру и войн станет меньше...
