    It's probably not the edited master of a video, but a but a making of type thing. I love the demo version and ending solo. I've seen King's X over 75 times on every tour since 1988. Their my all time fav band.

    I remember when Doug and Ty had their mics that close. The shows in small clubs. Wow I feel so blessed to have been to all those shows. We’ve commented to going to all the Texas shows and NOLA in 2022. Maybe even the Tenn. shows

    I love how at 0:23 Jerry is playing the same thing on the bass drum and cymbal but with a slight overlap. It took me a while to wrap my brain around that and figure out what he was doing. One beat on the bass while he's doing two on the cymbal then it reverses.

    Thanks to the wonderful record industry they were never recognized They should have been like u2. So unique. Nowadays you don’t need talent to get e record deal. I’m in a kings x tribute band and trying to spread the word about the monumental music they created!

    Holy cow! if this is a demo, I want to hear the rest of the album done this way! It sounds so "alive".

      Shows how much S Taylor compressed their sound

    Outstanding! Brings me back to '88 when I first heard them on WSOU in NJ. I know what I'll be drumming to today. :)

    Wow. I've never seen this. Wish the final version could be released at some point. The audio has to be a demo version of the song.

    Do you the original vhs of this? I'm wrapping production on a feature length documentary on the band & would love to have it.

      Sadly I don't. I got it off of Megaforce Records' website years ago. With both Jon and Marsha gone now, I don't even know if anyone there would have a clue what happened to it.

      @@tedalger8925 Thank you. When I was last at Jonny's house before he passed he had no idea where it was or if he even still had it.

    agree with Jim Bob, how does this go under the radar? a few thoughts
    1) Different than the studio version
    2) Glad they ditched the cheesy rock moves e.g. Ty at 1:56
    3) I actually like this solo better
    4) Weirdest music video ever... KX as construction workers? wtf Megaforce?

    • @liquidbraino
      @liquidbraino 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This video was actually made before they signed to Megaforce. Back then everyone was sending cassette tapes as demos but King's X decided to do something different and actually made their own video which they sent to Megaforce as a demo. I think part of the reason it happened that way is because their manager at the time (Sam Taylor) was also the guy in charge of all of ZZ Top's music video production so it just happened that way. It's mentioned in the book "King's X: An Oral History". Great book BTW, I highly recommend it if you're a huge King's X fan.
