As a Canadian I feel very fortunate that our armed forces are what they are.. But the American Military is an awesome machine also filled with heroes, each and every member like Canada's military. It gives me a sense of safety knowing my military is well trained and strong and that our neighbours to the South have what I believe the most efficient fighting force on the planet. The whole damn world should realize that if the military was allowed to fight their battles like their enemies do (without rules of engagement) that fight would be over extremely promptly and we'd be the victors..... We ask our military to maintain and die for our freedom but we tie one hand behind their back while doing so. Let our men and women go out and do the job they are trained to do and let them do it efficiently. How the hell can politicans ask them to do our bidding in enemy territory yet dictate how they do it from home; safe and sound and with virtually no experience in life and death situations.

11 year USAF vet and proud to have served my country. Great job on this song guys, please keep them coming. Many of my friends did not come home from Viet Nam, their names on a plaque in the town square keeps them alive. Some who came home were so mentally torn, they did not survive. Thank you so much for your service. I always wanted to be in Military or Air Force or Army but would not let me serve because of medical condition. But ended up helping veterans run 2-3 miles so got them so strong at 50 and 60 and 70 so worked them hard. Some eould say this is too much. I was a drill sergeant with them I got their lungs strong their heart strong. I used to run 6-7 miles a day I thought everybody ran 6 miles a day I guess not. Just turned 60 and still exercising you have to everyday it makes you feel better. Go exercise you get less depressed that way
Thanks to you guys me and my wife gets to sleep under the blanket of freedom every night thank you for your service and all of its cost God bless you and keep USA safe
I proudly served my country for 22yrs. When I joined, it wasn't the "popular" thing to do. My body is broken, and my mind isn't what it used to be. But I would do it all over or step up even now. I have heard a lot of songs geared towards the military and they are all great and memorable. But I have not heard one that gets to the heart of it or tells what is inside the heart of every soldier, past or present. Thank you for saying what most of us can't put into words.
I was a sailor onboard the U.S.S. Nimitz and this song makes think back and smile for the time I served and the brothers and sisters I served with. I'm damn proud to be a American and a veteran! Thanks for the song, it's awesome

I'm so glad this song was written you all have no idea how much it means and helps, some people may not understand me but it means a lot
Hang in there life is hard. I think of suicide sometimes and this helps me think about the sacrifice these guys went through nsjes my problems feel miniscule compared to what these guys went through. I am an amputee and hard as hell people don't even know what we go through. Don't ever commit suicide its too hard for the people left behind
MrJpsjjpsj You dare post passages from the bible to dishonor a song that honors our soldiers. In case you haven't read your bible, it is full of war and and of death. Many of GOOD men and woman have given up their lives for this country. They have left their families to protect YOURS.And then you disrespect them. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Thank you for your service, all those who sacrificed their time, energy, and youth to keep us safe. And for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, there is no word greater than heartfelt thanks
The lawns of my safe and comfortable suburban community are littered with “war is NEVER the answer” signs. Choosing to serve your country in the armed forces has fallen out of fashion, and is looked down upon by many of the Americas who live under the very blanket of freedom our hero-class of warriors provide. Unless you are willing to pick up a rifle and stand a watch, you don’t really deserve an opinion on the morality of war. ”Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” If you are a recipient of that love, and all Americans are, then you must support our hero-warriors. Don’t let “patriotism” become a bad word and never stop flying the American flag with pride. And never, ever forget that no one prays for peace more than the soldier who knows and pays the true cost of war. Disclaimer: I didn’t serve, so I’ll end by just saying “Thank You.”
I served. I'm lawfully armed as a civilian. I do not support the wars of aggression for resources our country was tricked into supporting in the past. I am glad POTUS Trump was able to negotiate us out of war in the past 3 years. I hope our enemies don't pick a fight with us in the future. I am ready if they do.
I agree but one of the hardest things about being an American is we are guardian dogs for all the Americans even the lefty’s they can have their opinion but we’re the only ones that allow it to be heard. .maybe someday they will realize that but Nobody’s holding their breath.

Or better yet, why do you think soldiers commit suicide? In 2015, roughly 5,000 soldiers took their own lives while a staggering 20,000 went homeless because their wives divorced them. Think about what you're talking about before you say anything please. I go by facts, not nonsense.
We didnt fight for your damn freedom! Want proof, carry your fucking weapon wherever the hell you want! Bet you cant because some law or some pisshead gets scared because "guns are scary!". We dont live in a free country when communists and the black and brown army are on our dirt and we allow them a voice!
Yes sir I spent 8 years serving this great country and wld do it all over again no questions asked. I took that oath 18 years ago but still live by it to this day.
Thank you
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
From an old Australian soldier, this is a great version of the old classic. Bless and keep all who fight the good fight.
God Bless all who have served an those who are serving ! Thanks to each an everyone serving for this great country ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

2024. Stay-at-home wife and mom. Formerly terrified of guns and fighting. Now training to defend my family, neighborhood and country. Praise the Lord Yeshua and pass me more ammo. Thanks for the song guys. Found you from DemonsRow channel.
God Bless You and Kick Some Ass!
11 year USAF vet and proud to have served my country. Great job on this song guys, please keep them coming. Many of my friends did not come home from Viet Nam, their names on a plaque in the town square keeps them alive. Some who came home were so mentally torn, they did not survive. One friend said he should have died with his squad that fateful day. He shot himself at home. The sacrifice is real, the vets are real. They deserve our respect!

Go exercise you get less depressed that way
thank you for your service sir. you gave a large sacrifice and risked it all for our freedom and for that i thank you.
RIP Uncle Ralph. You are not forgotten.
Thanks to you guys me and my wife gets to sleep under the blanket of freedom every night thank you for your service and all of its cost God bless you and keep USA safe
I dedicate this song to the 13 men and women who died in Kabul R.I.P. Thank you for your services.
to everybody who is currently serving or has served thank you from the bottom of my heart so much respect for y’all ❤️ #merica!!
I’m 13 but this song 🎧 is awesome 😎
My son is in boot right now and this song has played so much on my shuffle that at times it brings me to tears thinking about him and other young men and women who have decided to go serve for us to keep us safe and at time's this song helps me pull through the hardest days.
Millions do understand you ma'am.
@adelinespeer6269 I'm not suicidal but I'm glad you're ok 🙂 stay blessed

+MrJpsjjpsj I have fought so you can be an idiot and make stupid comments.

Well said 👏
Very well said!
All I've got to say is that anyone looks down or talks down to a vet all I can & will say is F**K YOU!'

As a vet from a multi-generational vet family, I can totally relate. However, I dedicate this song to my son and all his bothers that are at Union 3 FOB in Iraq.
