Coffey, thank you for your music. This song means so much to me. My son is an Army Vet that came home with severe PTSD. He served in the war 6 of his 8 years of service. He was a gunner. Jumped in at the age of 18 and is now 36. He has finally settled into life with a beautiful wife and her daughter and together they have a disabled son of 6 years old. All of that just to say how much I appreciate you! Even thru the tears ❤❤
This beautiful song will always be a wonderful tribute to your brave nephew, and countless others who have made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as those who have answered the call to serve.❤️🇺🇸
God bless you and your son for the ultimate sacrifice he's made this great country. Also God Bless America. Screw all the haters this is not about them!

My dad was in the Marine Corps for 31 years. He was gone at times for long times and I missed him. To this day, I still have his letters and treasure them. But in all those times away, I understood why and I was so proud and i ran to him and jumped in his arms when he came home. My prayers go out to all the veterans and their families. You have my thanks and respect.
My dad served 20 years in the Navy. One day I thanked him for his service. Out of nowhere he started to cry. When i asked him why he was crying, he said no one had ever said that to him, I was the first. 💜💜
@@coffeysouthernman awesome song and tribute brother. This is first song I’ve heard from you but am about to head to iTunes and download everything you got. Thanks!

God bless him bless him bless him. I am so sorry you lost your dad. I recently lost my husband to leukemia. He had been a 19 year old medic in Vietnam in 1969. I miss him more than I can say. God rest them both, and God bless you for honoring your dad.
Veteran Mama here. Retired 23 year Veteran Hubby, both daughter and son Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, and Navy daughter. I have been there and sent my loved ones out.
I lost my uncles, he gave the ultimate sacrifice at the age of 19yrs in Vietnam war. I join the military in his honor, USAF. I come from a military families, twelve of us served, 5 never came home. I'm proud to be a Native American - Mescalero Apache, USAF Veteran and a LAR Fire Fighter. Thank you Coffey Anderson for writing this beautiful proud song and reminding America for all the Men and Women who Defend and Sacrifice their lives for this beautiful Country of ours. May God bless you , Mr. Anderson, your team and the United States of America.
God bless you, Joe! I love Native Americans! My brother is Lakota Sioux. We adopted him when he was almost 3. He went into the Army when I was in the Navy. My little brother became my big brother. He's quite a man! He is my favorite relative. Native Americans are the BEST Americans on the planet! I never call them Indians. That was a mistake that should've been corrected a long time ago. Native Americans are Native Americans! Original Americans! The FIRST ones here in America!
@henry_braun01 standardly just go to your local court house or capital building and inquire about citizenship. I believe 1 person can hold dual citizenship in Canada and America. It’s hard to keep straight what countries do and don’t anymorw
My friends dad served in the USMC and was deployed to Afghanistan. I want to thank all the Veterans and current men and women who are currently serving their country, you are the bravest people we have.
Shouldn't have volunteered💁 the USA hasn't fought a war for freedom since ww2 every war after was pointless and we sent our people to die for no reason
Chase your dreams brother. This song, the flag, the anthem will mean that much more when you graduate basic training. When you serve.... you are the first line of defense of our freedom.
You go man. I joined the army national guard at the age of forty... Infantry went to fort benning Georgia back in 2006 when they raised the age for a short time. One of the proudest moments of my life.god bless the USA and God bless you younger man. Trump 2020
I served 6 years in the army. No one wants you to die for the flag or the country. We want you to fight tooth and nail down to your very soul so that you come home to your loved ones and country men and women. Remember that. Now go chase your dreams!
I remember the first step off the plane coming home from Afghanistan. The sun was starting to set and I looked up and seen our flag flying tall and proud. I couldn't help but drop down to my knees and cry. I fought in the battle for marjah and we lost a lot of good men. Thank to all who gave everything for this nation, you will never be forgotten.
To EVERY US Soldier who reads this..... From the very bottom of my heart...."Thank you for your sacrifice, your service, your bravery, and your loyalty to this great land."❤
Thank you for your service. I stopped a black lady yesterday in full uniform. I think she was gay, don’t know for sure. She looked at me like I was a killer. But it didn’t matter whatsoever... if you wear that uniform I’m going to stop you and say thank you for your service. Salute.
I am a Veteran. I have heard tons of songs about our Veterans, but you sir have made me proud to have served this great country of ours. You just said it all Absolute Perfection...Thank You GOD for Mr. Anderson bless him and his family 👪🙏

Today I passed my ASVAB test, I'm officially in the service of my country. To all those who came before and after, I'll salute you. My fellow fallen comrades.
Thank you for your courage and patriotism, especially in today’s world. Our military recruitment and retention is so poor right now and it is refreshing and hopeful to hear about a new Warrior stepping up! Most sincerely, A Gold Star Mom whose son SrA Daniel J Johnson was KIA in Afghanistan on 5 October 2010. 🇺🇸💔🇺🇸
Hey, man! This is to let you know that there likely are some mighty challenges ahead that might seem insurmountable at times, but a little triumph makes up for a lot of suffering leading up to it. The actual service is often a lot less noble and a lot less glamorous than the sheer idea of serving, but eventually, it will all boil down to your ''why''. Greetings from Germany!
My dad served in Korea. He was shot in the leg and shrapnel just below the knee of his right leg. 70 years later, Oct. 17, 2022, his leg was amputated from above the knee. He is healthier today than he was 3 years ago. He had osteomylis. He feels better and looks healthier than I've seen him over the years. The infection is gone. He finally got his permanent leg last month. Waiting for his PT to start up again. To all those who fought for this country, I don't care where you served, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you and your families have done. May God bless you and keep y'all safe. Thank you to the families of those who gave ultimate sacrifice. I know there is nothing I can say. But I just had to say thank you.
The patriotism of america is synonymous across the world, if you love freedom, liberty and your country then you understand. Much love to all my patriots foreign and domestic. Let’s always do what it takes to protect the freedoms we’ve come to love and that our ancestors fought and died to protect.
This song hits home heard it for the first time yesterday and it got me in my feels, currently deployed, my wife and I just had a new born, and I won’t be home until the end of the year. Still, proudly serving my country with my brothers in arms, land of the free and home of the brave! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅
God bless your heart. My son was with the 82nd Airborne for six years an expert marksman and came out out of it a Sgt., Decorated, with brain damage, back and leg damages. I asked him would your do again. He told me damn strait I would. And though he has suffered greatly. He is now contracted with the Army. He is now a trainer. And training to be an Army dog trainer. Because one saved his life in Afghanistan. Nothing can take down a soldier ever. Many have given up their meat suit for their country their family, their freedom. But no MF can never have your soul. I understand that being a soldier is a calling that not a lot of people get. I come from a military family. I get it! I love all of you. You have the kind of courage that changes the world. I have the utmost respect for you. Love you. From a military mom. Godspeed!!!!

It’s the 4th of July 2021. This song sends chills down my spine, a lot of the country has no idea what the flag means to Everyone that has served this country. God bless America.
I’m not American but now I’m in America your flag means more to me than my own, freedom! And I’ll die for that freedom for my family! God bless America and all those that are proud of our flag!
From a former police officer, this song brings me to tears. My dad was a Dayton Police Officer for three decades. I am 33 years old and I served as a Dayton Police Officer for almost a decade. My 4 year old son loves this song and wants to be a police officer. Thank you for this incredible song!!!!
I lived in Dayton for a year on Horton Street. Worst neighborhood I've ever lived in. Saw more heroin and Fentanyl overdoses than I ever cared to see. It was a regular thing on that street. Or walking from 123 Horton to the Walgreens or the Family Dollar across the street from there, and if you didn't see at least 20 dirty needles on the 2 block walk, then it was a safe-ish walk
@@emilyshepard842 it's an epidemic in this country, sadly. The Feds have certainly dropped the ball going after drug traffickers, starting at our border. They certainly don't make it any easier for our officers. Thank you for serving, Jordan. I've gone to the Air Force Museum in Dayton a couple times with the kids! It's outstanding! We plan on going back.

Its all horseshit man...the Unites States government doesnt give a shit about you except keeping you anxiety ridden, afraid of eachother, fat, lazy, complacent. Thinking were the best country on earth and instilling false flag propaganda to keep some fake sense of patriotism to keep us "marching in line". They get your tax dollers, and send our sons and daughters off to foregin soil to fight for oil and chess pieces on the board. Its not for freedom. The American people have been eating the biggest lie on the planet to keep a select few rich and powerful. And no, it doesnt matter who the fuck our presidents are, Dem or Rep, doesnt matter. Good luck young buck.

My husband deployed to Afghanistan when our daughter wad 2.5 months old and was gone until she was 13 months old. As hard as it was for me, I can't begin to imagine how hard it was for him. After running over an IED and multile other catastrophic incidences, he came home to us. That sweet baby girl is almost 15 years old now and I am just as thankful today as I was the day he came home. God Bless our Service members. All of them.
I enlisted in the military when I turned 18. And for ten years I have served under this flag. I have a 5 year old and a wife at home. It hurts to be absent from my baby girl’s life, but I’m fighting to make sure she has one to live. Despite how messed up this nation can get, this is the greatest place on Earth. I love this nation, it is the place I was born and where I was raised. I will die defending the Red, White, and Blue. I will die defending that banner and what it stands for. I will die to keep my family safe under what that flag stands for. Because it means that much to me. I love this nation with all my heart and all my soul. And I will do anything to protect it. With the events in Afghanistan, this song rings more true and true. Rest in Peace to my Marine Brothers and Corpsman who lost their life yesterday in the bombing.
Sitting here crying like a baby. I have never heard this song until yesterday when I came across A tik tok video with a soldier talking about their blood being on Joe Bidens hands. And telling him to say their fucking names. This song was playing in the background. And I couldn't agree more. Every one of the 13 heroes blood is solely on his hands. Hes an evil man. Fuck you Joe Biden
God bless him bless him bless him, and you. You helped him through his final battle. My husband was a 19 year old Army combat medic in Vietnam. He died a little over a year ago from leukemia. God rest their dear sweet souls.
My father passed away from Alzheimer's in June of 2016 at the age of 92. He remembered very little of anything recent, but he sure remembered the old times of when he had served this country. He would tell us these stories over and over again, mostly funny stories, but when it came to the bad, he would just bow his head and shake it, and with mourning, disbelief, and tragedy in his face, just say 'the things I had seen'. Nothing more needed saying. Those good memories he would share though, and those are the memories I hold dear. He was a tiny man, and the other soldiers would tease him about that. He would laugh and tell us how once he had to jump from boat to boat as the ships rocked back and forth, crashing against each other, hoping he'd make it to the other side. He didn't have a driver's license, too scared to drive, but he needed one in the Army. So they sent him out on a tanker, the tanker chugging and jolting, forwards and back, as he gave it his best. They gave him his license anyway, and afterwards, the other soldiers joked with him and said that they wanted to ride with Copie, that they'd never get hit. He had some very fond memories of his time serving, memories that the disease allowed him to keep and die with. Also, the bad. But either way, he was proud to have served, and a soldier in his platoon who had outlived him helped lay the flag on his coffin. He took the pride of serving his country with him. RIP, 'Copie', my dad. We miss you dearly, as does the country you served.
His sacrifice will never be forgotten. I'm grateful that men like your father existed. Our world is a better place because of men like him. God Bless you

I want to thank you and your son very much for your service! You guys and every other person serving for our country are the reason we are free and I will always be grateful for you guys.
I am so very sorry for the loss of these brave soldiers. Cried lots when seeing their pictures. The pain of loss in this country is great on so many levels. My son, my husband and our fathers (WWII) all served in the military. May God strengthen and protect those placed in harm's way.

I respect all the brave men and women in the armed forces. Although I didn't join the military, I currently work in law enforcement. I get chills everytime I listen to this song. Keep up the good work and God bless.
Nowadays it’s statically proven that Law Enforcement seems more action then military members, so thank you for your service as well :) you are apart of the Red White and Blue as well.
Considering all the internal backlashes from ultra leftists organisation, hope you're doing well. law enforcement is the backbone of a civilized society.

As an immigrant of the United States coming from Mexico, receiving citizenship in 2008 thanks to my hardworking parents, there will never be a day I turn my back on this beautiful country and the brave men and women that preserve its fundamental freedoms every single day. I'm proud of the roots of my Mexican heritage but we shall never forget those men and women who died in the name of freedom, the men and women who let us go out and enjoy our merry lives, have cookouts, watch the fireworks on the fourth, go on road trips across the country, and admire the lives we posses... if you're reading this comment and you are serving, have served, or any sort of relation, GOD BLESS YOU, thank you for everything you have done for our nation and for that flag to continue waving for years to come. We will not let your sacrifices be done in vain. May God bless America and may the flag continue waving for all of the eternity.... Amen.

I’ve always wanted to be in the army or a cop but after seeing what they are having to go through I dont think I want to anymore. I’ve wanted to since I was 6 or 7 because my family was all in the marines or Air Force and I’m now 15 and still can’t decide if I want to join or not. It’s a hard choice to make but when I see what they are put through, it makes me want to find a new path to take. Not only are they not treated and respected by the people like they used to be, but they arnt even takin care of by the “president” or installed dumbass. Also when i said they arnt takin care of like they used to, I didn’t mean every person isn’t takin care of. A lot of them arnt. In Afghanistan, they had to clean up the talibans mess, such as the dirty ass toilets, trash, etc. and when I said they arnt respected like they used to be, they arnt. They used to be respected by everyone and now a lot of people hate them. I’m not saying people shouldn’t join the military, I was just saying why I might not join it. Same here.

Just lost two of my brothers in arms during the bombing in Kabul. This song came on and I couldn’t help but shed a tear.
I am so very sorry for the loss of these brave soldiers. Cried lots when seeing their pictures. The pain of loss in this country is great on so many levels. My son, my husband and our fathers (WWII) all served in the military. May God strengthen and protect those placed in harm's way.
I’m so sorry for your loss! Take care buddy!!!

No need to cry. Every soldier I was in with has an itch to defend our great nation. No recognition. Just want to help just like a police officer, EMT or fireman. We are all the same breed. Thank you for doing your part to keep us going. I had plenty of support meaning YOU kept kept the wheels turning on life. Thank you!
Love it 😍💝💝😍💝😘💕🤩❤️💘😌

Wife of Army veteran here. Excellent reminder of the price paid by veterans and their families. Life is precious and so is freedom. Treat them like they are. The reality of sin is hellish. Thank you to those who braved it anyway for us even though we don't deserve it. Call to Christ. He is waiting for you. Thank you to all who did and didn't come home.
You keep us safe on our front lines at home. God bless you and all our men women that serve our communities. Stay safe.
Considering all the internal backlashes from ultra leftists organisation, hope you're doing well. law enforcement is the backbone of a civilized society.
Thank you for your service 🙏🏼❤️

No one is keeping score on “seeing more action”. Don’t be drawn into that waste of time. LE and Military both deserve the love and respect of our citizens. But they are still two separate entities and both stand in their own.
Amen.

Seems a lot of immigrants fail to see what you do as soon as they get here the test states show loyalty yet many of them don’t thank you for your comment.

My son wants to be in the Marines. He's only 10. Seeing the current events , this song just makes me cry like a baby. So heartfelt.
I’m still not sure if I will join or not but I hope that whatever your son decides to do, I hope he stays safe.
Don't listen to the coward above. Service is still the greatest and proudest thing one can do.
hutch876 who are you calling a coward? He's 15. what the fuck is wrong with you?
@@FNFive-seveNN him callin me a coward doesn’t bother me, words don’t hurt me idc what ppl say about me.
@@hutch876 I didn’t say it’s a bad thing to do at least I don’t think I did. I typed that at night so I might have typed things incorrectly which may have made it sound unclear. Sorry about that. I wasn’t telling him to tell his son not to join. Sorry about the misunderstanding, have a good day.
Go to my high school now and then. There is a memorial there for the 17 friends and Hero's that I knew, I joined and served from 1967- 1970. I cry and ask God why them and not me?

My cousin is more like a brother to me and my siblings and he and my brother always would play Army men and even vowed that when they turned 18 they were gonna join the military together. Fast forward to when they turned 18, my brother and his wife had a kid together and my cousin was single and had no job at the time. My cousin enlisted in the Army. My brother went with him and was going to but my cousin told him "no dude you have a wife and kid now. You ain't goin' nowhere! I'll go." Fast forward to this year, Chris, my cousin has been in the military for 20+ years, has been through 8 tours of duty in Iraq, has his own platoon now and can retire in two years...oh and he is also a husband and father now too. I have so much love and respect for this man!
