What an honor to watch this match, 2 former greats, the queen Susi Susanti vs former World Champion Camilla Martin. The shots were just out of this world! Also, I don't think there is anyone in this era who moves in the court as gracefully as Susi Susanti did. Camilla's energy really reminded me of Carolina Marin.

I think what people tend to forget is despite Susi's playing style (especially at the later stage of career) hugely depends on her defensive style, she's not a bad offensive type if needed. Not to mentioned her shot reading ability that always give her advantage to prepare the next shots. Current players probably think she's 'only' retrieving every shots with clear/lob, but she is actually able to redirect it with disguise, and with a very high percentage shots most of the time. Truly a dedicated athlete.
The endurance and the speed she has is one of the kind. That's her ultimate strength.

Ngeliat match women single zaman ini jadi takjub juga sama gimana gameplay, teknik, dan strategi yang terus berevolusi dari masa ke masa untuk dunia bulutangkis. Kadang penasaran jadinya, kalo gaya main kaya gini diterapin ke sistem rally point kaya sekarang, apakah nasih efektif atau enggak. Apalagi sekarang WS lumayan banyak pemain yang offensive banget permainannya, gak banyak rally panjang kaya gini. Yang unik lagi, di sini tiap mau lob serang, seringkali bolanya dipukul relatively dari samping kaya teknik di tennis, soalnya kalau sekarang lob serang seringnya ambil di overhead dan pemain harus gerak lebih cepat supaya bolanya di atas kepala.
Penasaran juga kalo style main nya susi susanti gini di adu sama permainan yang deceptive banget kaya Jorji, Tzu Ying, atau Chanok. Pengen tau kaya gimana match nya haha. Atau pemain yang offensive banget kaya Marin
Pemain deceptive jaman itu.. ada mia audina… di simulasi uber cup 96 ini.. susi menang 11-5 11-0…. Kalo full offensive ada ye zhaoying.. dai yun… termasuk yg offensive ada wang chen.. zhang ning …han jingna… cek aj h2h nya….susi jarang error… jadi kemungkinan dia bisa adaptasi dengan sistem rally point… saya justru penasaran kalo lawannya nozomi okuhara … atau akane… napas siapa yg lebih tahan?

Wang Shixian klo stamina kedodoran sering error dia. Maka nya dia sering kalah lawan Saina Nehwal yg tahan rally n stamina oke. Dibanding WS China lain di era nya Wang Shixian yg plg lemah stamina nya.
