Hi I usually play back left or right or the libero. Should i get the asics upcourt 5 or the giannis immorality. They are both around the same. Im really looking for something with good traction and lightweight.
I have upcourt 5 and i see soo many opinions about giannis and i think better for libero is upcourt but better for left back or right is giannis. If I were you i will buy giannis. But is only my opinion
Hi there, what type of shoes u would recomend for me, while i was wearing asics fastball 3 (and i absolutely love these - low profile but also very cushioning). unfortunately Asics won't produce fastball 3 anymore :(.
Good question. I need to do some research on this over the summer because my Fastballs are wearing out. I’ve got some other suggestions on Squash Source you can check out, but none have quite the same sweet spot at the Fastball
I don't play basketball or badminton so it's hard to say but these are court shoes so they might work for both. Not much ankle support for basketball though.
Would Gel Game 8 as a more streamlined, contained lighter all court tennis/pickelball shoe work on wood courts? I have yet to try an all court tennis shoe on a squash court, would it be dead stopping power like a clay tennis shoe?
@@squashsource thanks for that. I guess i should refine my question, i'm 60, average height, low b level, 220lbs, so a lot of weight i don't do extreme lunges or anything more hard hitting and placing. Do you think these are lightweight shoes for lighter players ? i'm worried i would not have the lateral support. i've been using blast 7 (made in 2019) and those are pretty solid (literally) and hold my foot due to solid cover and wont get loose on the vertical plane,, but sole isn't gripping as much and the floors i play are almost shiny never sanded. i replaced the insoles with some thicker ones so shock absorption is a consideration. I can get Gel game 8 new for 50 cad on sale so willing to gamble if they can hold me to the ground with minimal ankle roll risk
@@soneeeee4440 Hard for me to speak on the court grip issue as I haven't tested in those conditions. Based on your age etc. I would normally recommend something more cushioned. I just published a video of best squash shoes that you can check out. I would've recommended the Blast FF if you can spring for them but if the old version of that wasn't good enough grip for you that makes me doubt the suggestion. The Upcourts and Gel Game 8s are on the narrower side so I think I'd stay away from them if you're worried about ankle rolls
Yes they are good for lunging, we do this a lot in squash. I never tried fencing so I don't know for sure how these would work on the fencing surface. As I recall it is rough? Which may cause lots of wear on these shoes. Hard to say
Had high hopes for my ASICS Upcourt 5 Shoes, but they fell flat after less than 3 months of light use. Reached out for warranty support, only to be denied with a dismissive response. Disappointing to see a brand like ASICS skimp on quality and ignore manufacturing defects. Can't recommend them anymore. Look elsewhere for reliable kicks. #ASICSFail 😒👎
I've gone through about four pairs of the Upcourt 5 over the last 8 months or so, sole is pretty durable, but toe area wore away pretty quickly...
Why do they not last?
@stealth saber toe drag
How often were you playing
@@Ducklesworth between 4-5 times per week.
Which would be good for playing volleyball gel rocket 10 or upcourt 5??
That‘s what I have been wondering too but upcourt 6 is also good for volleyball I think
Got this! Love it!
Thinking of buying these for the gym, liking the rubber bottoms. Not sure how flat or round they are. Thoughts?
I think Joel Makin was using these last couple tourney's... The black with Gum soles
Thanks I think you're right
Hello, thanks for the video. In your opinion which one is better for lateral stability in explosive movements: Upcourt 5 or Rocket10?
Rocket 10 a little better for lateral movement.
Upcourt 5 our gel rocket 10 for startes in volley ?
Have both. Rocket for sure
Like the looks of this sneaker’s. Can it be use for all day waking shoe?
I never tried it for this but I think it should be fine!
Is gel rocket 10 can be used in outdoor volleyball court?
can
It's good for badminton?
Are the soles of Asics Court Slide 3 and Upcourt 5 the same?
Thanks

Hey dude, how is the condition of the shoes now?

is this white bit foamy soft or hard rubber??
Its this good for basketball and badminton?
I don't play basketball or badminton so it's hard to say but these are court shoes so they might work for both. Not much ankle support for basketball though.
How's the sizing for this shoe? Does this run small?
My normal size was good

I have a friend, high level player, and she uses the Gel Game 8 for squash. So I know it works at some level

Can this shoes be used for outdoor volleyball(concrete floor)?
I’m not sure. Never tried that
is the insole of this removable?
No it’s glued down
Are This shoe's good for sports that move quickly forward and backward? (Fencing)🤺

how is the cushion? is it as good as rocket 10
Rocket 10 is a little more cushion. Just a little.
