      Hey I LOVE my older Foodi and it can do a lot of stuff. Check out this meatloaf I made in the 6.5 quart old version. th-cam.com/video/rYnDiSPMiPg/w-d-xo.html

    After watching you unbox the new Smart-lid Ninja Foodi, I ordered the OL701 model and I am so glad I did! Everything I have made in it so far has been so delicious! I will try this recipe soon! Thanks for doing these videos! I have made many things you have demonstrated!

    Loved the intro ! Reminded me of Dragnet.LOL. If you want to see a hand shake while filming, my wife calls me shake and bake with Jeff ! LOL I'm a barber, glad they don't shake with the straight razor in my hand.Cant wait to try. We love meat loaf once in a while. Nice and easy. Thanks again Scott !

    You certainly got your money's worth out of the one lid today Scott.
    Everything looks perfectly cooked and delicious 🤤👍
    I'll have to give those mini meatloaves a go in my regular ninja foodi.
    Try using oatmeal in the meatloaf instead of bread crumbs. It's a healthier alternative.
    So that's another ✔️ of approval for the use of the one lid. 😀
    Cheers Scott.

    Looks delicious Scott! I'm still using my 6 1/2 quart Foodi 302. Love that thing especially in summer when we want a hot meal but not a hot kitchen! I can't keep up with Ninja & their new equipment releases, but the smart lid technology looks really interesting.

      Lots of new Foodies but nothing wrong with the good old 302! I cooked THOUSANDS of meals in my old Foodi.

    Oh dang, I don't have that fancy lid. Not sure that I could do it in my regular Ninja. Need to write a letter to Santa. I have been good all year 😅

    Looks good. I like your style. You’re a good cook. And I love your music chives too. Thanks Scott. I’ll be making this soon in my smart ninja with thermometer probe soon. Yum. My hubby loves meatloaf with carrots and potatoes.

    Another really good video Scott. Indeed if it wasn't for you, cooking with doug and John sanders I wouldn't use my foodi as much. I just haven't got the confidence to 'make stuff up'
    Looking forward to the next video 👍

    What temp did you take your meatloaf to?

  • @patrickkenny450
    @patrickkenny450 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice job. Quick question for you. I've had my new smartlid Foodi for a while and I've found that most of the recipes I've tried that end up using the steam & crisp functionality, often seem to get overcooked. Your example here looked perfect when finished. Have you run into this at all? New fan from Phoenix

    • @ScottCooks
      @ScottCooks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, absolutely. I often run a few tests before filming and sometimes things are overcooked. I just lower the temps and times until I get it right. Then I make a note so next time I get it right first time..

    Trying this in my Foodi OL701 as we speak! Wish me luck :)
