    Follow up: Lisa, I made this and it WAS AWESOME, easier, and as good as if not better than the prior recipe, the Steam Crisp feature is awesome. I can envision several versions of this, a lemon version with asparagus, a beef and mushroom version, so many variations. Keep on Pressure Crisp'n, thanks!
    PS Wifey DID love it. 🙂

    I tried the first recipe and it was good. But this looks even better. This would be enough for two people to have a wonderful meal. Thanks for all of your recipes. They are all so very good.

      Definitely enough-this recipe is much more creamier than the first and I like the chicken mixed with the pasta it picks up the pesto and sauce flavorings-. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. thanks Larry!

      I have been playing around with this recipe -I made it even better the other day-lol. add more pesto and a bit more Alfredo sauce-makes it nice and creamy. I also used artichoke bruschetta and it was delicious as well. have a vid coming out next week using the artichoke bruschetta. The barilla pesto is very good as well-I tried 3 different brands so far. let me kn ow how you like it donna.

    Can ou make this in the other ninja foodie, the one before the one lid type

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You probably can-The Salted Pepper has done more complete meals with the original Ninja Foodi. Me personally I didn't really like how the meal came out using the original foodi.
      ummmm........I don't have the original cookbook with me but find a complete meal recipe using pasta and chicken breasts and use those directions and cook times. and remember its all about the size of the food as well.

    Does your model not have the internal thermometer? Nvm… just saw you use it in another video… do you think this recipe would work if I used the preset thermometer settings?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need for thermometer-I just like to check temp-you don't have to -as the chicken will be done-Unless you use thicker chicken breasts. Thanks Karen

    Great recipe Lisa.
    It would be just as good without the pesto sauce, but with torn fresh basil and a bit of grated parmesan cheese.
    Let us know how it was the next day.
    Cheers Lisa 👍🤤😀

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was delicious the next day- a bit less creamy. If I were to reheat this at home I would add a little Alfredo sauce to cream it up some.
      I just bought myself a basil plant for the kitchen window. Thanks John

    Great adjustment to the recipe! I have a question about the amount of milk, looking at the ninja booklet it says underneath the steam crisp chart to still add 1 cup of milk when doing half (8oz pasta) and 1.5C of broth instead of 3C, then it added 1/2C of shredded parm thats not in the full amount above. I literally just put mine together using the bottom recipe. Do you think i should cut back to half a cup of milk? And idk why they didnt add Parmesan to the full amount in the chart. Hopefully that made sense lol thanks for all your videos! They've helped me cooking in my Ninja Foodi I got for xmas. I'll let ya know how mine turns out tonight!

      @Special_FX 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok, I realized my mistake.. the bottom in the steam crisp chart says to add the Parmesan after to thicken the sauce. That's why it didn't cut the milk part in half. I accidentally added 1/2C of shredded Jarlsberg to the sauce mixture before cooking lol I hope I didn't just ruin the pasta. Fingers crossed! I've just been so busy and stressed dealing with my dogs surgery and now heart condition he goes in for tomorrow that I couldn't read properly.. but thanks again for making dinner time easier!

    Lisa I tried your recipt porkchops but I made two layers 6 of them breaded 3 on top 3 on bottom but I didn't have rice i made noodle roni chicken and broccoli 2 boxes and 20 min at 375 stopped it at 6 min noodle roni was done I took it out and only problem I had was. I put foil on top rack but the top was almost done .I switched it put them on bottom and switch bottom and about 3 minutes. They were perfect so jucy and golden brown it was delicious just wanted to let you know it was a great dinner just had little variations. But I know now not to put foil with double amount .But time was almost the same .Used the rack with both levels noodle roni just follow directions on back of box turned out perfect if anyone wants to try it 6 pork chops breaded and two boxes of noodle roni.
