Gotta disagree with mulemusic on this one. I was at this show and also saw them a long time ago. I truly enjoyed this show. Show me the group that can trot out 70+ year olds and expect it to be what it was 45-50 years ago. Set your expectations knowing it isn't the full band of originals. If that's not what you want to see, then you're bound to be disappointed. Back in the late 70's with the full band they were able to recreate the studio albums very well too but the sound quality in some of those larger venues was mush. Later when they cut down the number of musicians in the band they didn't sound as good especially given the complexity of the music. This was top notch. Part of that goes back to the tech you have today and the size of the venue. You could hear every instrument clearly. I was happy as were the people around me. Props to the musicians and their dedication in making this version of the band the best it can be.
What happened to raw and powerful KANSAS? This band sounds way too slick and compressed. Sadly, the REAL KANSAS is gone for good. Even when they bring originals out on stage, they embarrass them by letting them play one or two songs. This is homogenized KANSAS. Good for new fans, but heartbreaking for those who remember the band in all its POWER AND GLORY.
@@freddystone7584 I saw them the first time on the SONG FOR AMERICA tour. Again on the first tour with Elephante, and countless times after. There is only ONE original member and the sound from the old days and now is night and day. Way too slick and not one bit of the RAW power of the original six members. I've seen the band with Ronnie, Rags, Richard and Phil. You got one original member. They may be a fine tribute band, but make NO mistake, they are NOT the KANSAS who made the reputation. My opinion and I have thousands of dollars in this band.
Tribute bands do not write two new excellent albums like they have recently. Get a grip. You cant live forever but the music can until the sun explodes. I saw them in 76 all the way through to the present. Amazing music and talent. Beats any new crap bring made lately.
It could use a real Hammond B3 organ. Other than that, a new would be great in 2025. I like the “young” guys they’ve been getting. They’re all so talented. How do they pick that music up so relatively fast?
@@RichardScott-s1d Opinions.. I saw the real band when they were working to make a name and a sound. It's all copy now. The Preylude Implicit was good, but the follow up was subpar. The depth in writing is gone without Kerry and Steve. It's a new band and really shouldn't be called KANSAS. Homogenized and way too slick. Just not the KANSAS I spent 50 years of my life with. I'm grateful I saw the band as they shaped the sound and built the name. These guys walked into something they have nothing to do with. KERRY, STEVE, DAVE, ROBBY, RICHARD and PHIL will always be the REAL KANSAS.
I thought the show was excellent. They played the songs with pinpoint precision. Loved it
They sounded better live At the show then on video. I was their is was excellent.

Key words in your post "this version". This version is fine, but the original power is all gone. Time has stolen youth away.
Tell, Billy i am praying for him, I am sorry for his Wife
WWE, Paul Roma?

You’re wrong and full of negativity. I saw them in 82,92, and this tour. Did you even see the show or just going by video?
