I always wonder what the band thinks about playing for powerhouses like Kelly, the same way I wonder what the SNL band thinks while the guest star is doing their monologue in front of them. It's great to hear their perspective. Kelly absolutely tears it up. I don't think I could keep my composure if I was in the band.

I've always loved Jaco's enthusiastic guitar playing.. great energy. This is first time I'm seeing his personality. Love it! Reminds me a little of Keanu's character in Bill & Ted 😅 👍

One thing is consistent... she really needs nothing but a microphone! Her ability to emote, and change beats so effortlessly, is amazing. She's phenomenal. I can't think of anyone else with her versatility. I love that though as professionals, and you hear her sing all the time, you are still appreciative of her talent. You could easily be jaded, but you enjoy listening to her as much as we do!

Does anyone know if the inner ear piece only serves as a metronome/noise cancelation? I've never got to play with one before and curiousity has gotten the best of me.
Inner ears are operated by the sound guy which is set at sound check so that everyone can hear what they want to hear. There are videos of Beth Hart making hand signals to the sound guy to adjust what she is hearing. Beth Hart seems to like a lot of guitar in her inner ears based on her hand gestures.
I want to hear the whole song with just Kelly. I wish I could sing, and specifically I'd want to sound like here, powerful and crazy sexy. Such a great song too.
Iam looking for a job I will love and maintain. I will be great at and made for myself. In regard to the After party, behind the scenes commentary. Is everything done by computer? I noticed, KC sings with her whole body, hitting notes. it is quite remarkable. The guitar player is the only one moving behind Kelly and Kelly is the focal point. Unless Kelly wants the guitarist to come out and sing with her or play guitar by her? Once in a while? Sometimes, the singer will go to each band member to introduce each of them individually, that is where the band shines too. Happy New Year to all!
agree with several of the comments here. this is great content but Jaco needs to time his delivery better. He's funny and adds a contrast to Jason's (amazing organ guy!) very serious demeanor, but when he just keeps at it even when Jason is trying to highlight something it gets annoying and intrusive. And no its not the same as just going back to the original video to listen without Jaco, since Jason adjusted the tracks to highlight what he wanted us to hear. So hopefully more of this but maybe switch guitar guy to caffeine free.
Could you start over and put him in time out from the very beginning? He would start talking every time you played each persons part.. lol. I couldn't hear anything but him.. haha.
This just showcases how amazing Kelly's voice really is. A supurb voice, one of the best in the singing world. She's the best.
