I have a question so I seen videos where people were adding and subtracting not dividing can you explain how you do know when to do that instead of dividing?

Can you give an example problem? I would add for a problem like this x - 5 > 7 (5 is subtracted from variable) but divide for 5x > 7 (5 is multiplied to variable). Two videos from Unit 3 on equations may help (#5: th-cam.com/video/lAl7XvwKHRI/w-d-xo.html and #7: th-cam.com/video/s8Iah-8o418/w-d-xo.html). I will be creating similar videos for inequalities in the next few weeks.
