This person has coded art and basically made animations that would be part of a gaming engine(like Unreal Engine or RE engine) by using equations. That’s amazing!
Holy shit, I wrote an entire camp on trying to teach kids to do this stuff, but only ended up being able to run it as a two hour session so I wasn’t really able to actually teach the kids all the stuff that they would’ve needed to know to do something like this, but I definitely wanted to teach kids to do this kind of art in a camp and it was a worthwhile pursuit and I definitely learned a shit load when I spend about a month trying to learn to do ~80% of the stuff that you’ve done in this video. I love this so much holy crap.

Omg the math runes 😭 Fun fact: TFFs (font files) use bezier curves. You could've exported that data using python and saved yourself so much time lmao. But your method definitely fits the "Only using desmos" theme pretty well. So, props! This is super awesome!
A stupid part of me want’s to make this into a GD bossfight, either in platformer, normal, or (since I’m stupid) a list demon. Now, I’m bad at level design, so this probably won’t happen, but on the unimaginably small chance that it does, congratulations! You’re Desmos calculator art has been made into a really hard boss for a video game!
This is a really cool BTS, thought it was MUCH more complicated than this lol. I didn't even know you could make stuff like polygons and lists in Desmos!
Yet another masterpiece. I totally feel for you with the runes, i can't fathom why you decided to trace them manually. Literally yesterday i finished making a program that does exactly that automatically, with the added bonus of importing any character from any font. It did take me 3 days instead of a few hours, though, so I guess I'm the sucker.
I agree, SVG Fonts take time. When I was doing my signature on Inkscape (Luckily it was mostly block shaped), it took around 2 hours, for four custom characters.
I have zero experience using desmos for this type of thing but you explained all of it super well. Awesome job on both the boss and the explanation dude!
aw hell nah bruh this man made math scarier even than it already is by using numbers, letters, lines and fricking number stacking to make an extinction event angel 😭🙏
