Tbh i think my biggest concern is the voice actors. I'd prefer if they got new ones because 1) the original VA's have a lot on their plate already and 2) new ones could continue the remake series for longer even after the end of the anime. Although it's not a big issue, it could cause some problems in the future since the VA's are a lot older than they were at the start of the original series, and will be even older than that later down the line.
WIT made a big emphasis on hiring young artists and animators in the production of The One Piece so I should hope they have the sane idea for Voice acting. I beleive they can find fresh new voice talent that can fit the roles well.
These are things to worry about, and in all honesty I don't really trust Netflix to not try to pull a fast one, but I don't care too much because I still have the Toei Animation. That said, I don't like the way they have made Usopp's skin color so far. It isn't actually closer to how it looked in the original color spread.
The one piece remake is gonna be perfect its gonna surpass everyone's expectations after all the director are insane and the animation is studio is wit studio which is better than mappa
I prefer them releasing all at once. That way I can only pay for netflix for one month. I only get a sub service when there is something I want to watch then I cancel it.
1. They better stay with the same animation style through the whole series. 2. Adapt the cover story arcs. 3. Keep the pacing steady. Not to fast & not so slow. 4. New voice actors since they're all old. 5. No filler arcs except for maybe the G-8 arc. That all I want to say.
1. If the same animators can work thru the whole project (assuming they want to remake ALL of the anime until the end), then that would be great for sure... but be realistic, that is a LOT of years (even if they speed up the pacing) and nobody knows what could happen in all that time. 2. How exactly? Do you want the main story to be interrupted to show these? (as in mini-filler arcs that are not really filler) OVAs? Small pieces at the end or start of a chapter? It's easy to ask, not so easy to implement. 3. That's very subjective, how do you have an universal standard of "not too fast and not too slow"? Proof of this is all the existing debate regarding pacing not only in the One Piece community but also for many other anime. 4. I kind of agree with this for sure, specially considering the recent Franky news. 5. Anime remakes/remasters usually have very little to almost no filler at all, maybe just a couple of episodes. Examples: HxH 2011, Dragon Ball Z Kai, FMA Brotherhood, and I could go on.
@gustavo9758 Answer to the second question. Maybe small pieces at the start or end (Depending of the episode) of every episode if the staff keeps up with the series. Answer to the 3rd question. I mean, like adapting at least 3 or 4 chapters per episode, unless the chapter is short, like 15 pages, then 5 or 6. That's what I mean by keeping the pacing steady. 4. What Franky news? I know the Voice actor is old, but I haven't heard anything. What's going on? 5. The G-8 arc is the only filler worth adapting in this version
When the director said that "they wanted to be creative, and not copy and paste panels" I wanted to scream an yell "don't be 'creative', just go and adapt _exactly_ what it is in the manga and nothing more".
My guy, that is not necessarily a bad thing... In fact, it can not only be a good thing but, in some cases, changes here and there can even be BETTER than the manga. And one piece is a fine example of this (There are multiple examples but I'll just go with 1: Luffy vs Lucci on Egg Head).
I'm not even remotely excited about this. One Piece is too long to just suddenly do a reset. The current anime and it's cast are iconic and a major success so it's completely unnecessary.
i honestly prefer watching anime all at once rather than one episode per week, that is just annoying!! imagine watching a fight and waiting 7 days for the fight to countine! and 1 episode really short for people to be hooked. specially since they watch new vuewers on board. As a viewer either release all at once or max releasing in part 2!

Although I love the dub actors for OP currently, it is definitely best for other actors to take this on.

Mid, is just the thing that every ones thought about "But what if its bad :O". No real "worrying thing"

i would love the cover stories to be the filler, just 1 episode of 15 or so stories, would be perf
