Yes, you are right, that was the copyrighted version.... But, a long time ago, I was there when it was born... somewhere in the 70's....Before it was made into something that could be profited from.....it had to be changed a little bit, so they could claim it. If you try singing it with those lyrics instead, you will see that the spirit of that song is elevated when you continue to emphasize Jesus, and not reigning with Jesus.... But you can use either one. Just keep worshiping Jesus.....
