I think the problem with this whole album was that Noel said he hated it and then all the fanboys started saying they hated it too. I get why he doesnt particularlly like it from an artistic and PERSONAL point of view for what he was going through, but i think its a brilliant album even if it is overproduced by Noel. And this song is at least a top 10 Oasis' tune for me. Same chords progression as Wonderwall doesnt make it the same song and definitely not bad at all.

A brilliant song from a much maligned album. I'm still disappointed Noel couldn't revise it for the deluxe anniversary, but it'd bring to mind press hassles, strict secrecy, having to leave Abbey Rd etc etc., so a tough ask ... but please do shorter versions someday, Noel, maybe in 2022, for the 25th anniversary
He already released a remix of Do You Know What I Mean a few years ago, removed a lot of the guitar noise and turned the bass up. Improved it hugely. Can't ever see him bothering to do it for the whole album though. He just doesn't care enough about the album to put the effort in.
