    Bundle of thanks for sharing your 5 steps hack to handle time frequency plots as a pro. Moreover, I also had the misconception that I have to plot all the channels by averaging them on a single time frequency plot(that wasn't showing anything useful) and you cleared that for me.

      You could average a few neighboring channels if you like, particularly if you have many noisy channels (averaging reduces noise), but averaging them all is likely to be less informative.

    this explanation clears up a lot on the subject. Ive always had trouble getting my head around freq-domain plots and this explains it beautifully.
