This game can be brutal sometimes with the house winning 9+ consecutive hands, but it can go the same way for the player. Just make sure we bet the basic strategy to minimize the house edge. In the LONG run if a player bets the basic strategy the house edge is only around 2%. Problem is most people don't take the minimum effort to learn it.

The Table is a little lower and a shade smaller but you can see the cards better because of it. I love playing there. Everyone is very nice and the food is awesome.

Your first hand calculation is not right. When you have lower kicker, your may consider add 3 other same high cards in calculation. Your hand kicker is 4, can't beat anything,. Therefore, it's 11+8+3(other Qs)=22 out, definitely a fold hand.
