You should learn to count outs. There were a few hands I would have played and turns out you would have won. I try to stay under 19 outs. Less with more people on the table

this is just one of the most volatile table games, can lose ur booty quite fast, need a good bankroll for this. Crazy 4 or Let it ride is probably better to start out.
