I created them in the dashboard editor but when I go to the website are not there. also, i can't copy/paste the generated content. so everything that is supposed to appear in the header is not there, except for the website title. The first time i downloaded the themes worked great but i had to delete everything and start again, since then nothing has worked anymore. thank you

Hi Tyler, I have been sending people to your "How to make a Website step-by-step with no steps skipped" tutorial since I first watched it back in 2012 I think it was. I recently met someone who was failing dismally using squarespace and then trying to use the crazy domains builder. I suggested he use wordpress and said I would answer any of his questions after he watched your tutorial. It had been a while since I had seen what you were doing so I felt I needed to watch your 2024 version right through before sending the link. Anyway, 2024 is just as complete, no steps skipped and I don't think they will have any questions for me. Well done, keep up the great work!

PRO TIP: do EXACTLY as Tyler says in this video. DO NOT be tempted to start customising small things specific to your website. FINISH everything that he has to say in the entire video and then you can do it after. This is coming from someone who got distracted my first time trying, messed up my website and eventually gave up on it. Now im back here a year later and Im doing EXACTLY what he says to avoid any problems.

You are correct when you say "Don't worry about editing everything now". I started my website 1 year ago and am just getting back to it. I watched your older video which used Elementor but followed steps from 2024 video. Some things worked great but when editing I don't know if I'm editing in Elementor or Wordpress? Are you using Elementor at alll in 2024 video?

The video is focused entirely on using the built-in WordPress block editor, which has come a long way and can handle most design needs without additional plugins. If you’re following the 2024 tutorial, you’ll be editing everything directly in WordPress. This keeps things simpler and faster.

Unfortunately business took me in a different direction and worse, I had my own business site horribly hacked. Out of exasperation of not being able to rid the site of trojan viruses, I burned it to the ground. Its been a couple years and I do miss building sites and having my own site so I came back for a refresher with your tutorial (2024) and WOW you have made things so much easier than before. I spent the tutorial just listening and plan to watch it a second time while building a site. I look forward to using what I've learned from the past with what you have technically brought to the table. In advance, thank you for being a great teacher.

You're right - WordPress has come a long way, and the block editor has made things much simpler and more secure. To help prevent future hacking issues, remember to: Keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated Use strong passwords Back up your site regularly Consider security plugins
@@TylerMoore thankyou for your response. one thing I learned previously with plugins, ‘less is more’. While plugins are amazing, too many plugins,and more to the point not all plugins play well together which can apparently slow down a site’s performance. Can you recommend a security plugin or plugins that you have found are lean but work well?
For finding a good security plugin, I'd recommend checking the WordPress plugin directory and looking for ones that: Have high ratings and active installations Are regularly updated Have good support response times Offer essential features without bloat When choosing, look at recent reviews and compatibility with your WordPress version. Sometimes the most popular options aren't necessarily the best for your specific needs. Also, check TH-cam reviews and comparisons to see how different security plugins perform in real-world situations.
Great video! I discovered your channel while learning how to use wordpress with your 2023 video and I have to say that the 2024 version is up to par in leveraging AI. However, I have a few questions. Comparing Astra and Variation themes, I have the impression that Astra allows more customization. For example, to make the website mobile-friendly, Astra seems to offer the possibility of modifying the desktop version without affecting the mobile version, unlike Variation. Would it be possible to make such changes on Variation too? Also, it used to be possible to change the color of menu links when the mouse cursor was over them, which doesn't seem to be possible with Variation. Is there an alternative with Variation?

I am a retired UI developer, and I have to say this is the best tutorial I have found for wordpress. Man, I just wanna thank you. I used wordpress for a little project years ago and was easy, intuitive and straightforward. So now that I decided to start another project I went confident with wordpress... what I found was completely different. I was losing my mind, no joke. Absolutely impossible to make it works and I had to reset the website 3 times. Maybe didn't help that hostinger preinstall 3 page builder (why??) and a full set of plugins. I spent at least 10 hours only trying to understand the setting for the homepage and I was about to give up or to take a brake. With your video I finally understood the main structural problems that I was facing, and your website is 100 out of ten. I will have a look at your services "work in progress". Hi Tyler, I have been sending people to your "How to make a Website step-by-step with no steps skipped" tutorial since I first watched it back in 2012 I think it was. I recently met someone who was failing dismally using squarespace and then trying to use the crazy domains builder. I suggested he use wordpress and said I would answer any of his questions after he watched your tutorial. It had been a while since I had seen what you were doing so I felt I needed to watch your 2024 version right through before sending the link. Anyway, 2024 is just as complete, no steps skipped and I don't think they will have any questions for me. Well done, keep up the great work!

PRO TIP: do EXACTLY as Tyler says in this video. DO NOT be tempted to start customising small things specific to your website. FINISH everything that he has to say in the entire video and then you can do it after.

You are correct when you say "Don't worry about editing everything now". I started my website 1 year ago and am just getting back to it. I watched your older video which used Elementor but followed steps from 2024 video. Some things worked great but when editing I don't know if I'm editing in Elementor or Wordpress? Are you using Elementor at alll in 2024 video?

The video is focused entirely on using the built-in WordPress block editor, which has come a long way and can handle most design needs without additional plugins. If you’re following the 2024 tutorial, you’ll be editing everything directly in WordPress. This keeps things simpler and faster.

Hello again Tyler Moore. I built a website, and websites for others, years ago using your amazing tutorial. Unfortunately business took me in a different direction and worse, I had my own business site horribly hacked. Out of exasperation of not being able to rid the site of trojan viruses, I burned it to the ground. Its been a couple years and I do miss building sites and having my own site so I came back for a refresher with your tutorial (2024) and WOW you have made things so much easier than before. I spent the tutorial just listening and plan to watch it a second time while building a site. I look forward to using what I've learned from the past with what you have technically brought to the table. In advance, thank you for being a great teacher.

You're right - WordPress has come a long way, and the block editor has made things much simpler and more secure. It's great that you're taking the time to watch through the tutorial first before diving in. That's actually a really smart approach!
To help prevent future hacking issues, remember to:
Keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated
Use strong passwords
Back up your site regularly
Consider security plugins
@@TylerMoore thankyou for your response. one thing I learned previously with plugins, ‘less is more’. While plugins are amazing, too many plugins,and more to the point not all plugins play well together which can apparently slow down a site’s performance. Can you recommend a security plugin or plugins that you have found are lean but work well?

For finding a good security plugin, I'd recommend checking the WordPress plugin directory and looking for ones that:
Have high ratings and active installations
Are regularly updated

When choosing, look at recent reviews and compatibility with your WordPress version. Sometimes the most popular options aren't necessarily the best for your specific needs.
Also, check TH-cam reviews and comparisons to see how different security plugins perform in real-world situations.
Great video! I discovered your channel while learning how to use wordpress with your 2023 video and I have to say that the 2024 version is up to par in leveraging AI. However, I have a few questions. Comparing Astra and Variation themes, I have the impression that Astra allows more customization. For example, to make the website mobile-friendly, Astra seems to offer the possibility of modifying the desktop version without affecting the mobile version, unlike Variation. Would it be possible to make such changes on Variation too? Also, it used to be possible to change the color of menu links when the mouse cursor was over them, which doesn't seem to be possible with Variation. Is there an alternative with Variation?
I am working on making it better but yes, astra has more features.

I used wordpress for a little project years ago and was easy, intuitive and straightforward.
So now that I decided to start another project I went confident with wordpress... what I found was completely different.
I was losing my mind, no joke.
Absolutely impossible to make it works and I had to reset the website 3 times.
Maybe didn't help that hostinger preinstall 3 page builder (why??) and a full set of plugins.
I spent at least 10 hours only trying to understand the setting for the homepage and I was about to give up or to take a brake.
With your video I finally understood the main structural problems that I was facing, and your website is 100 out of ten.
