For fish feeding… only two families per time slot are allowed. Be in line 6:00-6:30am to get a spot for your family. The booth opens at 8. First feeding at 9:30.
@@Livingtheglobe of course. Thank you for sharing so much. We just stayed here. Amazing service and I am glad you emphasized that it is a Hawaiian resort with a Disney touch. Disney is top notch for service. Shaved ice on property, a lazy river, a pool that you can hear sounds of whales when you are underwater… Aulani is an experience. Mahalo
@@Livingtheglobe I just called, they confirmed the Luau is still going on and that the new regulations just require proof of vaccination or negative test. Love your videos, but just felt that this needed to be clarified.
Hey you 2 thanks for all your info you give!!! Been glued to your TH-cam channel for the last 2 months. We planned a trip there next Saturday based on your info and suggestions!!! Thanks again!!💪🏾💯
I've got tickets for the luau at the end of this month. I haven't heard anything about it being canceled. And it still shows up on the Aulani App. Are you sure it's canceled?
The luau at Aulani isn't closed - if you look online, the bookings may show as full, but if you call them they had so many spots still available for almost every date. We had one booked for Sept 15th, and it was canceled that day for rain - they moved us to Sept 17th, and we enjoyed it very much! And the fish feeding you just need to get in line for 8am when they open up sign ups for fish feeding..... but you can pay for snorkeling at rainbow reef (same place they fish feed) and swim with the fish, and even watch the feedings from in the water. There wasn't really a limit to snorkel. The adult hot tub was only closed for a couple days for maintenance. Was up and running the whole week we were just there 13-19. But the adult only pool that is behind the coffee hut, is now an all ages pool for the time being.
That isnt the “adult pool” you are showing under construction. That is the adults only hot tubs. The adult pool is by Ulu cafe (which is now not adult only)
Its good to watch this video for its information, but now isnt the time to be visiting or travelling for vacations during COVID. My input would be, save your money, get an Air B&B for much cheaper and visit the island and get to know the history and the people and culture. Hawaii based on an immigrant pineapple plantation history has grown into an multicultural Asian community mixed with the Spirit of Aloha and fellowship. From this, you can watch "local eats" videos made by locals on where and what to eat. Save your money and stay away from luaus and restaurant food as its not typical local food.
I just left there. The hotel is clean, people are wearing masks, and hand washing often. I agree to with the recommendation of keeping entertainment outdoors and away from crowds. We rented vehicle’s and ate local food trucks when possible. We also had a kitchen and ate meals in our room. There’s more to Hawaii than resorts. Be safe, respectful, and expect things to change w/o notice.
At $499+ per night in the middle of nowhere NO it's not worth it. I have lived in Hawai'i since 1963 and these new hotels on the west side are way over-priced. There are 3 hotels in cluster with 4 lagoons assuring that the local people would have access to the beach. Well tiny parking lots, and at one time they were going to shut them down to outsiders. They took away our beaches. They are the outsiders from the mainland coming to build these hotels to make $$$. I have watched this happen for the last 58 years. Our median priced homes are now $1,000,000 that's why the local people are leaving their islands because they can't afford to live here anymore. So very sad😭😭😭

I've become addicted to these videos. Great review.
Thank you so much, lots more to come!

Great video again!,
Glad you enjoyed it!

No. It is closed till the next year

@@briandonnellan3718 Yeah, I have tickets for the show later this month. Maybe it's only open to resort guests?
We were just there last week and went to the luau, so it is still available.
@@Livingtheglobe it’s not closed. It is very much open.
Do you think the Luau will be back on again in January?
Yes, it’s already back!
I was just there last weekend and the luau and adult pool is now open 👍🏼
Great news on the pool! I'll be there in a couple of weeks.
Aloha from Eric and Tina. Nice video🤙🏿😊
Aloooha! Mahalo for watching!

Please call them directly. When we were trying to book it, it said canceled till the end of the year!

Full disclosure after taxes and fees the cheapest room anytime of year is $500 a night and the parking isn't cheap .

Soo true this hotel is crazy expensive , Air bnb is much better
I just booked my Luau at Aulani. I’m confused is it still happening or is it canceled?
Please confirm with the resort. When we were shooting it was canceled till the end of the year
