That goodbye kiss Rayla gives Callum is so sad but sweet. Giving Viren's coin collection, I think it's safe to say that people assumed they ran because their bodies were never found.

Want Dark magic to stop? Then teach them healthier habits,as in Primal magic. Don't just glare at them and hope they'll get the message, because a lack of communication is what causes a lot of problems not solve them
Honestly, most of the conflicts in The Dragon Prince resulted from a lack of communication between elves, dragons, and/or humans. The 1,000-year split of the continent certainly hasn't helped matters.
I think the issue is partially that no one was even aware Humans could learn to tap into Primal Magic. Not Elves, Dragons, or even Humans probably believed it was possible. They were aware that they could use Primal Stones to access it though, and when you are aware of one method that does work, even if it's a difficult method, you tend to use that rather than trying an unproven method.
@josephperez2004 That and you can't just go to a grocery store and get a Primal stone like you can buy food. Xadia didn't bother to help humans learn Primal magic for a very long time so,why wouldn't humans go for Dark magic when the resources to do Primal magic were kept away from them?
“My apologies but a human cannot Callum: I don’t have time for this ish FULMINIS! Teach me the damn spell. I gotta feeling it’s going to come in handy later.” Also, that freedom from guilt is the best gift Callum could ever give Rayla.
I think the reason everyone believed Rayla's parents ran away was that the rest of the Guard was confirmed to have run off, and since there were no bodies left behind, the parents were simply assumed to have run off as well.
Props to Soren. He has grown up admiring his dad and desiring his approval. It was so hard for him to turn his back on a toxic family dynamic, but he has strong principles.
And back in season 2 Claudia mentioned that there were a lot of spells that used various parts of dragons. Viren later provided an example of what sort of magic a dragon's horn can provide.

Elijah hates Viren not because he's the villain. She hates everything about the charecter. Elijah keeps saying he's a weak & petty villain. She doesn't hate Claudia or Aaravos as much.
@@TheMrPeteChannel The thing I do not understand is why viren specifically, Belos and andrias were somewhat alike, but they did not create such a response from her
It's not so much that Viren should be in comparison to other similar villains... it's that Viren compared to the other villains (Claudia/Aaravos, etc.) in the show has probably the oddest, most hypocritical reason for doing everything he's doing. And on top of that, he believes it's the right thing to do, even as other characters have looked him in the face and said "this is wrong". He's a very hate-able character from the beginning through about halfway into season 5. And for good reason, too. But that being said, give Elijah time to watch seasons 5-7. Viren doesn't necessarily become likeable by the end of the series, but the writers give him a very fitting culmination to his character arc that allowed a lot of people to realize how well-written of a character he is, and how in turn he makes Claudia a very well-written character.

(I'll comment this on the last episode as well lol)

To be honest I am not even sure that anyone is defending Viren or his choices in the comment. They are trying to explain to you that Viren is someone who genuinely does believe that he is doing what is best for humanity. It is the whole road to hell is paved with good intentions thing. Viren is not secretly evil and just wants power and position so that he can rule the world, he is someone who has seen his people pushed down for years and wants a way for them to finally be free of their oppressors. Are his actions reprehensible? of course, but the point is that they come from a place of genuinely wanting to help his species and finally allow them to be free from the threat of Xadia. Essentially people want you to understand that it is possible to have good intentions and valid, logical reasoning but still do evil things. You get so caught up in the actions that you refuse to look at the motives behind them and understand why he is acting in this way. As someone who has been explaining Viren's motivations since the very beginning of ur reactions, I've never actually seen anyone defending him. I was explaining and exploring his believes and the themes the show tries to communicate through him. I don't know a single person who'd want to excuse him, in fact I think he's irredeemable. Or at the very least unforgivable. I do believe he believes in the righteousness of his bull*hit, but that doesn't really matter. After all, Soren put it all perfectly: if someone tries to make u do horrible things by saying they're actually good, that's evil. Viren is evil. Overall, Viren is delightfully hateable character and that's great.
0:30 I had the same theory, though only after watching the flashback in this episode. I figured he did something to silence them but if he simply killed them the other elves would have found their bodies and assumed they died in the line of duty. I doubted he would take the time to dispose of their remains.
that's just gonna happen, there are people who defend myne from shield hero, riya from disventure camp, stella from helluva boss, etc etc, the reasons vary, the contexts change, motivations shift. I've tried to understand it, there's so many variables its hard to get a simple answer but it happens
In future seasons, we'll see more about parents who do or don't have empathy for other parents. We've seen a lack of it already with Viren, who wants the sons of his alleged best friend dead. This is a heavily implied example, Rayla's parents are, of the empathy being there; every moment they were defending the egg, it's entirely possible they were thinking of their little girl, protecting it as they would have protected her.

4:34 😆
5:00 😐
5:15 Evil Dead Reference!!!
6:16 Mmm, yeah, about that, humans can't... oh shit, never mind.
6:58 Knew you'd like that.
9:03 And them. You two rule!
15:51 Friend? 🤨🤭 Sure...
Amaya knows what's up. Janai can't hide it. Who's your favorite ship now, Elijah?
Just 2 more episodes till it happens.
and it's gonna be amazing
@@instantchaos2385ahhhh yes. Someone with glasses?
4:00 Well not that much considering he only has a shadow. It's what my dad looks like if he doesn't shave for like 4-5 days
6:09 If it makes you feel any better, I laughed a lot at this joke 😂
True but this season almost made Viren look like a certain Austrian painter.
11:30 i think you will be pleasantly surprised in later seasons.
Ehhh. Not sure if it would .
0:30 I had the same theory, though only after watching the flashback in this episode. I figured he did something to silence them but if he simply killed them the other elves would have found their bodies and assumed they died in the line of duty. I doubted he would take the time to dispose of their remains.
Happy New year everyone!
Same 2 u
Wait till you see a question that Janin asks Amaya in the future you'll scream so loud
Manus, Pluma Volantis thar was said in the spell is latin, which translates to hand, feather, to fly 5:49
that's just gonna happen, there are people who defend myne from shield hero, riya from disventure camp, stella from helluva boss, etc etc, the reasons vary, the contexts change, motivations shift. I've tried to understand it, there's so many variables its hard to get a simple answer but it happens
Watching your enthusiasm for this show is so contagious. Thanks for being you Elijah. 💙^^
Next episode: the Battle of the Storm Spire! I am so excited and/or terrified!
She's gonna break her screen
I think people thought they abandoned them is because there were no bodies.
Also the Moonshadow elves are a honor focused group.
More like a Toxic focused group
I really hope the Dragon Queen wakes up soon.
18:40 dude I started cracking up and now I can't stop laughing oml🤣
I love Callum so much!!! I hope he learns to do new kinds of magic!!!
Ehhh. I think they think little of Rayla since they joined the Dragon Guard.
Oh I’m SO excited for you to react to the finale and the coming seasons, you’re by far the funniest and most enjoyable person I’ve seen reacting to TDP!✨
PS, there’s a graphic novel set between seasons 3 and 4 that is really helpful to understand some crucial plot points in coming seasons, just so you know. If you can I definitely recommend reading it IT’S SO GOOD
I love Amaya SO MUCH
I can’t wait to see your next reaction to the dragon prince. Hopefully you’ll be able to post it soon. I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work.❤
"It's time of war..." -Bruce Wayne (Batman: Arkham Knight)
11:19 You'll understand once you get to Season 5.
You are going to have a field day of ups and downs with the final episode!
She's going to smash her monitor.
You should react to monkey wrench. 😊
Its very underrated
Elijah: "That's ama-ging."
(cricket chirping)
LOL!!! I love you so much, Elijah!!!!
"Why are people defending Viren"
You'll see
Viren trying to save the Duren Queens & prevent 100,000 people from starving is enough 4 me.
It’s going to be so fun watching Elijah progress through this show 🫶 great reaction
sapphic shipping intensifies
NOW we're getting into the good stuff!!!! S3 finale next week!!! I'm REALLY excited for that, expecially the ending, amd then your reaction to TTM!!
I can't wait to see your reaction to the finale!
I had to wait after this season and didn't actually managed to catch back up to continue from this point (so ngl I've been using your reactions as my rewatch so then I'll continue watching fresh after these next few episodes too!😊)
12:24 "There is no power in it, it's just a dragon egg."
There's loads of power in a dragon egg, there's loads of magic in dragons. Whenever a dark mage casts magic without a primal stone, they use a magical creature or parts of one. It has come up with several times. Just look what Claudia was able to do with only a dragon's horn.
hey Elijah did you know there is another Life is Strange it’s called double exposure and has a all grown up Max that doesn’t look 12 anymore
Wasn't max 16?
"Someone who wants you to do horrible things, and convinces you that they're good, that's a villain. My dad...is a villain."
I'm so proud of you, Soren!!! I love you so much!!!!! He's my favorite character!!!!
I have seen the entire show so I'm excited for her to see the rest amazing video.
Hi, not sure you’ll see this comment, but if you do, after you finish this season, you should read the Dragon Prince graphic novel “Through the Moon” for the next season to make more sense.
It bugs me so much that Soren turned his horse loose fully geared. That poor horse is gonna be hurting!
On the other hand, I cackle so much still over Callum's expression when he's proving to the sky elf that he is very much capable of non-dark magic.
And now Virin and Aravos are Crusty'n'Sparkles in my head...!
Janai: "We are not... friends. She is my prisoner."
Amaya: (signs) "She thinks I'm cute but won't admit it yet!"
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I ship these two!!!! They're so cute together!!!!!!!
Please, Elijah...for the LOVE of GOD, react to episode one of Season 4 and post it soon!
There's a scene from it that will make your Sapphic heart EXPLODE into confetti like it was shot from one of Morgan's cannons
The fact I watched all the episodes and excited for she to see it
YAYY i'been waiting for this! ❤️❤️
You are going to LOVE the new session, especially the last episode😏 😅
Am I the only one who noticed that rayla's ears moves down when she is annoyed or sad even angry at some point 😅
She's like a 🐈
She ain’t gonna be ready for season six and I’m so excited for her reaction to it❤
Regarding why Rayla believes her parents fled, I presume that people found out the Dragonguard fled and just believed that all of them did. And if Rayla's parents just disappeared without any sign, that probably just led them to believe the same of them.
you should react to "Anne With An E" i think you'd really like it! it's set in the 1890s and also has lgbtq characters! it's def my overall favourite series
"crusty ass boyfriend" ohhh brother just you wait ELI JUST YOU WAITT!!💀🙏😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
