Always liked Joe Hart as a keeper, but didn’t know he was such a humble and honest fella. 👏🏻 👍🏻
Until he’s screaming for the ball back lol
@@landon7045 then he turns into a living scarecrow with bleached blond hair
@@landon7045 How is that related to humbleness and honesty? Keepers are taught to do that, they are supposed to control the back line
@@goldytwatus1674 I think he was talking about when he screamed give me the fucking ball at that young kid/ ball boy not for shouting at his back line 😂
that usually happens when the country run your name through the mud. he wasn't like this 10 years ago.
As a City fan Joe Hart will always be a City legend for me💙
Really appreciate what this bloke is doing at Celtic. You can tell he’s a class act after all he went through.
Decent goalie, but has that liability factor that keeps him out of top tier football. He will do well in Scottish football now.
@@brianbrooking496 hes the best goalkeeper the prem has seen

broke me when he left city and watching Bravo have shockers every week made me livid with pep at the time
Bravo was obviously a disaster but there was no way that Joe, although he's a top keeper, could have played in a Pep side.
@@Hittingitstiff yes he cant, but in hindsight, I rather have safe hands than no feet and hands at all. what a disaster Bravo was 😂 made people called Pep, Fraudila. Thank God there's Ederson on the rise. can't think of any other that can be bought on the cheap like that

He’s been a huge character for Celtic. In a young team he is a great example and leader.

What a great all round professional! My son ( Also named Charlie) did a soccer camp with “Joes” dad years back and his dad put him on the phone to my son. That increased his love of goalkeeping aged just 7!!!
Crazy how disrespected this man was after being a top goalkeeper for so long.

I thought that Joe Hart was finished years ago, but he came to Celtic and the effect he has had, both on and off the field, has been exceptional.
Every interview he gives is thoughtful and considered, and he never fails to impress as a human being.
People thought Antti Niemi was finished too but he was only 28.
@@DojiJoji they thought he was scottish not finnish
Joe Hart looks good in an average at best scottish league. He's not even close to prem starter quality anymore. He was a weak point in City's team at his best
He is finished that’s why he’s playing for Celtic
Big difference between prem and Scotland...tho joe was poor in Italy too but good for him he's bounced back
As a goal keeping coach it's so refreshing to have a podcast about goalkeeping and having two great keepers talking about there profession, have to say Joe has been treated very unfairly at City plus my club West Ham never really given a chance, you have yo be so thick skinned. Glad he is doing so well at CELTIC.
He wasn’t treated unfairly at City under Pep. He was not good enough with his feet, which is an important attribute for Pep’s system. Pep told him, you are not for me and you won’t play under me. It was the right decision in the end
The crazy thing is Joe Hart at 36 years old, with the two league titles and an FA Cup under his belt, coupled with his experience playing in England, could drop down to League One or Two and be a major asset for a team looking to get over the hump and promoted to League One or the Championship. I'm a United fan, but good on Joe for finding a way to boss it in Scotland and for Celtic.
True, an experienced gk is vital to getting over the line
Only if he stops using head and shoulders everyone knows he started performing crap after he started used head snd shoulders shampoo
What is crazy about that?
@@oo0024 Grow up?
He’d easy do a job at a championship team maybe not a team pushing the top but deffo the lower half
Really enjoying these clips of Joe, speaks openly and honest.
life of a keeper is tough. Respect to Joe, he had some great moments in the PL
Still having great moments up here and I'm sure he will have more moments next year in the champions league with us
Joe Hart. What a humble man ❤
As an Irishman, I was gutted when Joe took Shay's place at Man City and as a massive Celtic fan, I was happy to hear Joe was interested in coming, gotta say I have hugely impressed by Joe as a person never mind some outstanding saves over last couple of seasons and overall goalkeeping performances
Two Spurs players - Hart and Carter Vickers - both got sent to Celtic in the same window and both have taken their chance with both hands. Good for them.
You can see why Santo didn't last at Tottenham, if that's how he talked to the players there that he didn't want/like. There are so many GKs who could still do a fantastic job into their late 30's and early 40's. David James was 37 when he won the FA cup at Pompey, Buffon was still winning leagues in his 40's and Shilton didn't get 125 England caps by stopping when he was 34.
Yeah Hart isn't them he was a good goalkeeper nothing more nothing less. Soon got real competition when Guardiola came in. Lost place as he was over hyped cause he is english. Hart was better then Bravo will say but no way would he taken number 1 shirt off Ederson when he came in. England not had world class goalkeeper since Seaman.
As a Birmingham fan, these are the two best keepers I've saw wear the shirt. Great pod.
One after the other.
KRO
Hart is a fantastic goalkeeper. Great to hear his positivity. He is one of the greatest English goalkeepers.
300+ appearances for City, the man deserves respect 👍 very humble, and honest, candid interview. Great work 😉
This man deserved better, and he sure got it after leaving Spurs. And I'm a Tottenham fan lol
Wild that a former goalkeeper would say such a thing to his own goalkeeper
Christ I just reached that part and the disrespect. From a manager who was mostly second choice in his playing career as well!
He was ‘apparently’ a goalkeeper! 😂. Revenge is a dish best served cold
Exactly my thoughts...
Joe Hart is an absolute wanker so I don't blame him. Have people forgot his rant at the ballboy? And a lot of other rumours too. I am loathe to believe a known bellends side of the story.
Tbf to Nuno, Hart had just had horrific spells at Torino, West Ham Burnley and even at Spurs. He really did look absolutely finished once he left Man City
Goalies have always fascinated me, such a unique position compared to the other 10 outfield players. Any other position players will get fairly regular game time whether through injuries, resting, rotation etc, 2nd choice goalies really rely on cup games to show what they can do. It's also really unique in the sense goal keepers can play easily into their mid to late 30's at high level. But they never seem to be appreciated quite like most outfield players do which is a shame. As a Spurs fan, players like Joe Hart should be talked about by City supporters in the same breath as Kompany, David Silva, De Bruyne IMO.
Im a man utd fan but im so happy hes found a place hes happy
He seemed to struggle alot when city got rid of him and he didn't deserve that
City fans love you always Joe ❤
Always thought he was a bell... Top guy and sounds a gent.

joe saying "apparently he was a goalkeeper" about Nuno who won the Champions League as Porto's Keeper in 2004 6:20
he wasnt the starter but yeah he won the UEFA Cup (vs Celtic), the Champions League and the last intercontinental cup (which he actually played) for Porto and even the Spanish Cup for Deportivo La Coruna.
He actually had a good career...

Class act Joe , loved him at BCFC
Joe Hart has done superbly at Glasgow Celtic.
Joe you loved by city fans for life 💙 I was sad to see you go but h handled it well mate 👍
Sad how people talk about Joe Hart in the Prem. They forget how good he was. His prime wasn't long but during those years at City, he was brilliant. Of course he had his errors like every keeper but he was brilliant overall. Even before the season Pep joined and City finished 4th. Hart, Aguero and David Silva carried that team to 4th. Their backline was so trash, without him they would have finished 10th.
I think most just remember his England days and tbh he wasn't good but looking at England during Euro 2012 and 2016 and WC 2014, who was any good in that squad? Not to mention when Pep kicked him out and most assume he was trash or lucky. It blows my mind honestly.
I hate the way Nuno treated Joe at Spurs.
The guy is a class act
Hart is an awesome keeper. I've always been a fan since his playing days in city. But, as a Man U fan, hated playing against him.
The most underrated position in football history. It’s sad but we do it for the love of the sport.
Happy birthday Matty, keep bangin those goals in...

So humble, so generous, so Nice and a World class goalie. Glad that Joe is doing so well at Celtic 👍🏼 Pep did not do any good for you career, as we all know. Keep going Joe! you Got this💪🏼
Joe is currently a very good keeper, but more importantly he's a great man. That is why Celtic Fc appreciate him so much. HH
If he was making howlers you would want him out right now
he wouldn’t be playing for celtic if he was a very good keeper
@marcelo yeah exactly he is playing in a sub par league at a sub par team Celtic wouldn't survive one season in the English premier league
Work out well for Joe…league winner back to back
After Listening to this about Nuno's comments, it's no wonder why Karma came back and bit him in the arse at Tottenham! I wonder what the comment to him were when he was fired? "Sorry Nuno, you're not top manager quality to run a top premier league team"
The best add you have ever had
Needed to hear this perspective, really really good 👌🏻

Strange how Torino were the only club in for a ‘top keeper’. Also it would’ve been good to hear what Joe thought of the keepers who replaced him and how important they are in the success of the team.
it's just how it works with keepers. most teams have 1st choice down to 4th choice sorted before pre-season.
it's such a vital position and the fact there's only one keeper makes it all the more difficult.
budgets are tight and no club will pay for a top keeper when they have four pros on the books. harsh reality of goalkeepers
Wasn't he voted worst keeper in serie a that season?
Yeah he was awful at Torino
Big Sam’s first England camp ….
Could have said Big Sam’s last England camp 😂
Italy is an amazing place to live, I recommend it to anybody. Most beautiful place on earth.
He has a training pitch named after him at the Etihad for a reason, pep's reasoning was he didn't fit the play system but nuno was just wrong. One of the greatest players at City
Honestly think he's twice the keeper ederson was. Imagine joe hart playing infront of that defence in his prime. He was incredible when you won the league over united both times, wouldn't of won it if not for him.

My Dad's a Shrewsbury Town fan and took me to a few games back in the day, Joe Hart was the goalkeeper their before City bought him (only £500k). Everyone in the town is proud of Joe, where he has come from and how far he has gone. Some people may disrespect him, but he's a legend.

"Ball is too quick for you... You are Not moving fast enough" - Spot on from NUNO ! .. It is the Harsh reality Joe... Your reflexes slowed down years before Nuno stated the truth right to your face... It may have burst the bubble the hype you lived for many years, & may have shattered your ego and confidence, but it did good in the end, as it lead you to pick a 'Slower-paced' league in Scotland.. With your experience winning trophies with Man City team, it was a good-match joining Celtic and you found a level of peace at the end after many years, Thanks to the wisdom from Espirito Santo !
Joe hart has seen the highest of highs of footballs and hit the lowest and his low was so quick it was crazy. Pep said I don’t fancy you and it just fell apart
He is doing fantastic at my club just now CELTIC .. I BELIEVE HE WISHES HE CAME HERE YEARS AGO WERE HE IS RESPECTED N LOVED BY FANS .
HE LOVES IT HERE JUST NOW
He's trained with both Nicky Weaver and Ederson. This man really was the glue between the dark times and the glory days.

Fozzy boy! As a suggestion, can you try to get a past and a present goalkeeper on the sane pod? That would be class. I can just imagine Ramsdsle snd Hart just waffling about Goalkeeper life.!
I think the way Joe was treated made him a great man and leader.
Brilliant goalkeeper I remember when he kept Messi and Co at bay while at Man City
Unfortunately for Joe, he reached his peak much earlier than keepers do normally. At City, we City fans saw the shortcomings in his game that just grew and grew. Main fault to his game that he couldn't get down to his left quick enough to save shots and opponents used to target this. Once they did that his worth lessened for top clubs and Joe was always going to be a bit player wherever he went.
Neil Sullivan also had problems diving to his left.
Nah, that was the anti city media making a bigger deal out of it than it really was. He just wasn't the fit for Pep. CTID
Sorry Opta Karlos
@@haroldb6773 Eye test is amazing thing. You look 👀 and your brain registers what you are seeing. Then you read (try doing that one day) and you validate what you have been seeing (again, using your own eyes 👀) which is struggling to dive to his left. This was the case from very early on. But you can rely on other people to make judgments for you, and then you can decide based on their opinions, like a good little lap dog you are 🐶
Always liked him. But also "hated" him as a swede, since he ruined our u-21 run in 2007/2008 by dancing in goal in the penalty shoot out. Didn't know he was such a humble and great bloke. I would have loved him all those years.
It was acctually legendary, if I didnt have swedish eyes 😅
