Of all the impressive vehicles at the Cars & Coffee, I have to say the Fireflake Golden Bronze Norton holds it's own quite well, Mike! It's a stunning bike.
Hey Mike, love your Commando. Used to ride a red 750 Commando in Canberra ACT Australia 1973, it looked the same. I always thought it was a great looking bike, probably Norton’s finest. Thanks for sharing your ride to cars & coffee. Last week I rode my Harley Softail Heritage Classic 103 to Melbourne Victoria to attend a rock concert with my son and grandson, 600km round trip from NE Victoria. Fabulous ride, great weather.
Great video Mike! I keep telling myself to get out to Portland sometime (hopefully this summer) and meet you guys for coffee. Be better on my Norton, but that would be long haul from Omaha.... Have a good week.
It was good to see the Norton out as I look at snow covered ground. The one car that I liked the most was the yellow Capri. I had a silver Capri II in college came loaded with an AM/FM cassette and roll down windows for air conditioning.😅
Good morning Mike. Short but soooooo sweet. Love that Norton! Have a friend in our AMCA club that has a twin to that, hasn’t run in many years, been passed around from multiple club members and no one has given her any love. Maybe it’s waiting for me. Think I’ll give him a call …………. 🌞🏍
You know we're all riding around on modern retro bikes and up comes that beautiful old orange Norton...we're deluding ourselves you can't beat the real thing. All those proper cars as well and not an EV in sight. Thanks for that Mike.
Thanks for taking us along, Mike. The Commando sounds crisp! The first-kick start speaks volumes 😎

That's one really sweet bike, mate. A real credit to you.
Nice again, Mike! Greetings from northern Germany Manfred
Thanks for the ride!
A bob or twos worth of motors there, but, I still would have your Norton before them.
Nice ride out. Do you have any summer rides filmed to warm our winter dreams? Thanks, Ronn
The Norton sounds great . Interesting mix of cars Mike , didn't expect to see a Capri and was that an old Vauxhall ? Dave nz
Nearly 5000rpm steady on!

The best vehicle there was the ‘fleck’ Commando.
