Half Life invasion seems like a free model game, basically a free model is when you use the toolbox feature instead of manually making things on your own, its quick and easy but its rather risky and messes with the art direction

i remember a really long time ago when i was just getting into half life i joined this combine group and became a metrocop. it was a part of this c17 roleplay game where one of the mechanics was having to manually let citizens into the city with some id numbers or something. i also remember really wanting to get a higher rank to get an mp7 or something so any time a combine soldier would die i would try to take their weapon and id also try to glitch into the solider/elite gear room for the weapons. im pretty sure for a while it completely rebranded to something else because they were afraid of copyright but right now its city 17 again
Man i missed playing that game, i remember playing and getting rank 3 and getting the mp7 It was pretty cool, also theres was some different divisions like one called "Phantom" that were spy/infiltration units and could become invisible.

Both the Seven Hour War RP and the Black Mesa Incident RP are made by the same game group called 2Gear, and it's basically a money-trap RP. There is no actual 'objective' or 'goal' to them as it's basically roleplay set in the setting of the environments. However, they solely exist for the game creator's wallet to be swelled by making 80 different paid weapons/vehicles "Gamepasses" to use in-game that provide no tangible change in gameplay.
@@RadiationHazardYT it is not actually that bad, this is an exaggeration of it. They are getting better, and animations are being added now. It is a collective of the best role players on Roblox (excluding some on 7HW) so you have to remember that many people oppose 2-gear.
the vehicles were intentionally set to a high price to prevent every single server being filled with vehicle RPers, they occasionally go on sale too. and keep in mind that its not as bad as after the flash where you gotta both buy a gamepass for 3 guns and then write a 500 page document about how your character got said weapon.
Did you seriously forget RoSource? Probably the best City 17 RP game in my opinion. Used to be popular whenever the devs ran ads for it, but most of the time it's abandoned. What a shame.

The map itself is a Dust2 equivalent in CrossFire (it even has the same layout as Dust2, but with some adjustments), where it is quite popular among players in that game.
valve isnt like bloody nintendo that kills italian kids cause of the fact that their name is luigi , valve was always letting people do things with their ips , the only one of these roblox games that should have something happen to it is city 8 , that game is full of expensive gamepasses that unlock practicaly every second thing in the game , the xp used to unlock these normaly is almost impossible to get , you need to grind that stuff as hell

Like a dozen years ago I mashed together some hl2 sounds to have custom crab synth sounds, and I'm pretty confident that at some point on the video someone commented about them being used in a Roblox Half-Life map that had a crab synth, which was weird and surprising. Looked for it back then but never found anything. Always hoping to see it in a video like this. Wonder if anyone knows about that, or if it was even real to begin with.
roblox can be fun sometimes, especially if you're playing with a friend or brother/sister, but damn, it's the most donation based game I've ever seen in my life... Items that cost money are EVERYWHERE. I'm glad that at least you can make some really funny avatars without buying anything, even tho items are very limited, but sometimes people create some cool/funny and most importantly FREE stuff that you can take and pray for roblox stuff to not delete it a week later for no fucking reason

A lot of the 'HL2RP' stuff you find on Roblox is just designed to siphon money out of people, no RP to be had. Take away the constant PvP and you've pretty much got nothing.

Yo xD ive never tought you gonna play my game (Headcrab Infection), i know the map, mainly the inside is kinda meh and doesn't resemble Black Mesa at all, but this will change, we working on huge overhaul to remake the map to look more realistic and to look more simmilar to Black Mesa, aswell remaking guns to be more realistic, aswell making the map overall more immersive with more interactable stuff aswell adding props you could grab like in HL2. Sadly development is kinda slow, due off my devs not having time, we aren't full time so ye, everything goes slower. There are Labs in ROBLOX based off or inspired by 'Half-Life', 'Black Mesa' and 'Aperture'. For example there are Groups and games called 'Innovation Labs' Half of them are based off or Similar to Black Mesa. Like, Half of their games have Trams, Lobby's based of Black Mesa, Hazmat suits and The rest goes on. And there are Pinewood, Some of these are Also based off Aperture or Black Mesa and In the "Lore". Pinewood and Innovation is competing Each other just like Black Mesa and Aperture are Competing each other.
That city 24 game is just someone taking another city 24 game's map on Roblox, that's probably why it felt unfinished.. The map is C24v1, which was somewhat larger than the one we have today. And yeah, City 8 is basically just a cashgrab deathmatch lol..

One of my only, and fondest, experiences playing Roblox were on a Black Mesa roleplay map. It had a lot of interactive stuff like the portals and an instakill room in the test chamber. The models weren't much to speak of, but it still had a weird LEGO-like charm.
I was actually part of a similar RP game for Roblox that was a remake of City 24. Ranked as a 01 CP and the group occasionally had fun raids and events going on.
you missed a very good and serious half life game called "City 17" which is similar to city 8, but its taken more seriously, and the elite soldiers of their combine have the combine letter/language. To play as a combine, you simply join their roblox, group, and take their examination test. They also rank up their soldiers, and they have certain divisions for their group like for example, OTA (Overwatch Transhuman Arms), SPEAR, Jury, etc.
i played city 8 alot, and started to play headcrab infection. civil protection and regular rebel are the worst classes in city 8. and they we're even more worse before an update that gave classes different and better weapons for ranking up. it's fun once you get the hang of it, but most of the time it's just waiting around and guarding as a combine, or an endless deathmatch. headcrab infection is fun but it is very unbalanced for both humans and xen. also the most serious half life roleplay game is city 17. and it's terrible by how serious it is. if you literally pick up a prop or shut a door on some random jury unit you didn't see, you get about 5 - 7 minutes in jail as a combine. and if you say a single thing that sounds goofy, you also get a jail time. the differents between city 8 and 17 roleplay games is in city 8 you can just fuck around, infact you don't even have to roleplay. you can just kill and don't even care about anybody else.

The Seven Hour War and The Black Mesa Incident games (both made by [λ] Half-Life Roleplay & 2-Gear Studios (2 roblox groups)) sometimes do admin Hosts. It's basicly a roleplay controlled by Moderation so everyone knows what to do. Also how comes Scuffed half life game {V.2} made it and "City-24" didn't?
HI player here with about 70 hours I think (help me) Not every team has a goal, survivors have to escape and bops have to nuke to start a new round. (Every round has a different map with puzzle piece rooms) Hecu, xen and race x all just play an level up. I would say the weapons resemble hl less than the map, as a few rooms look quite similar. Ones I'm remembering right now are the room with pipes where a bullsquid teleports to in unforeseen consequences, though that one isnt all that similar between games.. Theres also the room at the start of office complex, lacking a door and the barnacle spots replaced with a small xenian spawn point. In fact, floor 2 heavily resembles office complex in looks. Yes, p2w in this game is a bit annoying. Some xenians are way to powerful, like the gonarch that chased you. Theres two levels, global levels and local levels. Global levels are across the whole game and unlock new classes, though with higher xp requirements. Local levels are per class except all human classes share local levels, probably due to similar gameplay. Every 10 local levels gives a buff (or most of the time a new gun) to the class. Yeah, it feels like you get cornered easily but a map overhaul is apparently on the way, so maybe it'll fix that. also screw events i hate that fomo trash
You should try the game called '[RP] CITY-17', it plays more like a Gmod HLRP server and you don't need to play for hours if you just wanna be a rebel, it's pretty well made compared to other Roblox HL games

I think that City 18 roleplay reminds me of a Combine vs Rebels server from Garry’s Mod. Bad admins, terrible hit detection, pay to win and it looks the exact same.
Most of those games I have wasted hour's on headcrab infection is also insanely broken with the alien controllers their pellets or whatever you want to call them can go through walls which with the limited entry and exit points can be overly frustrating
Honestly, some teams are op. One survivor, and they're almost useless, 3 of them and they kill any xen they come across. Either too underpowered or too overpowered. But it's nice when you surprise attack someone as a headcrab.

ive played that last one before and i can say that 80% of players have never played half-life for example you got the HECU helping the scientists and guards.

City-17 on Roblox is one of the better HL2RP-style games, City-8 is regarded as a microtransaction TDM game, and has nothing to do with RP.
City-17 is the best available option for ROBLOX HL2RP with functional weaponry and an immersive Combine experience with an actual rank structure.

I was actually part of a similar RP game for Roblox that was a remake of City 24. Ranked as a 01 CP and the group occasionally had fun raids and events going on.
you missed a very good and serious half life game called "City 17" which is similar to city 8, but its taken more seriously, and the elite soldiers of their combine have the combine letter/language. To play as a combine, you simply join their roblox, group, and take their examination test. They also rank up their soldiers, and they have certain divisions for their group like for example, OTA (Overwatch Transhuman Arms), SPEAR, Jury, etc.

i played city 8 alot, and started to play headcrab infection.
civil protection and regular rebel are the worst classes in city 8. and they we're even more worse before an update that gave classes different and better weapons for ranking up. it's fun once you get the hang of it, but most of the time it's just waiting around and guarding as a combine, or an endless deathmatch.
headcrab infection is fun but it is very unbalanced for both humans and xen.
also the most serious half life roleplay game is city 17. and it's terrible by how serious it is. if you literally pick up a prop or shut a door on some random jury unit you didn't see, you get about 5 - 7 minutes in jail as a combine. and if you say a single thing that sounds goofy, you also get a jail time. the differents between city 8 and 17 roleplay games is in city 8 you can just fuck around, infact you don't even have to roleplay. you can just kill and don't even care about anybody else.

The seven hour war has zero goal. You get some stuff and you just roleplay. A ton of imagination is involved in doing RP in roblox.

But if you decide to get back in roblox u should try and play this game called tunneler. its like a portal not rip off but ig spin off and its rly cool. i love the visuals in it. but yea dats all i have to give you

The Seven Hour War and The Black Mesa Incident games (both made by [λ] Half-Life Roleplay & 2-Gear Studios (2 roblox groups)) sometimes do admin Hosts. It's basicly a roleplay controlled by Moderation so everyone knows what to do.

Not every team has a goal, survivors have to escape and bops have to nuke to start a new round. (Every round has a different map with puzzle piece rooms) Hecu, xen and race x all just play an level up.
I would say the weapons resemble hl less than the map, as a few rooms look quite similar. Ones I'm remembering right now are the room with pipes where a bullsquid teleports to in unforeseen consequences, though that one isnt all that similar between games.. Theres also the room at the start of office complex, lacking a door and the barnacle spots replaced with a small xenian spawn point. In fact, floor 2 heavily resembles office complex in looks.
Yes, p2w in this game is a bit annoying. Some xenians are way to powerful, like the gonarch that chased you.
Theres two levels, global levels and local levels. Global levels are across the whole game and unlock new classes, though with higher xp requirements. Local levels are per class except all human classes share local levels, probably due to similar gameplay. Every 10 local levels gives a buff (or most of the time a new gun) to the class.
Yeah, it feels like you get cornered easily but a map overhaul is apparently on the way, so maybe it'll fix that.

You should try the game called '[RP] CITY-17', it plays more like a Gmod HLRP server and you don't need to play for hours if you just wanna be a rebel, it's pretty well made compared to other Roblox HL games

I think that City 18 roleplay reminds me of a Combine vs Rebels server from Garry’s Mod. Bad admins, terrible hit detection, pay to win and it looks the exact same.

Most of those games I have wasted hour's on headcrab infection is also insanely broken with the alien controllers their pellets or whatever you want to call them can go through walls which with the limited entry and exit points can be overly frustrating
Honestly, some teams are op. One survivor, and they're almost useless, 3 of them and they kill any xen they come across. Either too underpowered or too overpowered. But it's nice when you surprise attack someone as a headcrab.
@@thequestionablewaffle5804 Yeah in the game local level I have like 212 levels which as you can guess means I have almost every single weapon though the majority came from the older version which was more balanced depending on some views
ive played that last one before and i can say that 80% of players have never played half-life for example you got the HECU helping the scientists and guards.
