- This monster Vekoma custom MK-1200 looping coaster stands 118 feet tall, reaches a top speed of 56 mph and features seven inversions including a butterfly, batwing, loop and double corkscrew, but unfortunately it's mostly know for its rough ride. However the coaster underwent retracking in 2013 and it ride better than it used to.
You can also watch the off-ride video we posted to see more of what this thrilling coaster looks like: • Goudurix off-ride HD P...

Je suis du Nord mais eux ce sont vraiment les pires cas sociaux.
Mdrrrr son accent me fait peur😭
I rode Goudurix many times and I never got hurt... It‘s a really great ride ! Just put your head back to the seat and relax your neck, and everything will be fine. Not as good as Oziris and Tonnerre de Zeus but I love it !
1:39 MICHAEL JACKSON IS THAT YOU?!
Nope it wasn't me😂
It was a cuckoo

This ride murders your neck. Its a shame, because the track layout is actually really good
EvaristeWK i went in the pharmacy after riding this 2 or three times but the pharmacist didn't knew what to do. I left the park with a small headache.
M&H Racing Like all vekoma coaster
It looks like a fun layout, but seems like it was ruined by poor track design with a lot of jerky transitions that should have been smoothed out a bit more.
Jackson The Booknerd Its not vekoma's design. Arrow's.
Brian Spijkers I know, it was the guy above me who said it was Vekoma.
Hey look, it's the torture machine!
Could not agree more with you ha ha !!
Grazie A
its worse than the napkin coaster
Some alternative names include 'Pain: The Ride'
Submaximum agree
It looks painful...
BatWomanDIY why
BatWomanDIY It is
BatWomanDIY it bumps a lot but it’s really fun
That's Vekoma, for you.
Because it is
1:15 that crazy french scream
Oof
North african scream*
I scream like that but girl version CUZ IM A FEMALEE
When you step on a lego
When they eat your baguette
It's such a shame these Vekomas are such rough rides, the layout looks amazing.
It's mostly Arrows that are notoriously rough, Vekoma's get it right once in a while (they improved upon the design since buying Arrow Dynamics).
frenchfrey65 Really? I think Arrows are pretty smooth. The ones at Cedar Point are pretty smooth, the airtime hills on Gemini and Magnum are more like thighhurting hills though :P
ThisIsBarc99 Cedar Point is the exception because they're well maintained, outside of that, Arrows are bad, notoriously bad, especially the ones overseas in Japan (Titan, look that one up it's hilarious), and the knockoffs in China are nightmares.
I don't think Vekoma ever bought arrow...S&S did
Tommy Carr then why would Vekoma use Arrow's design? I'm surprised, I just wiki'd it and I could've sworn Vekoma bought them out considering they're using Arrow's Design
1:15 when they steal your French bread
kacey *:・ xDDDDD
kacey *:・ oh my lord
sorry i don't speak japanese
*garlic bread
HAHAHA U KILL ME
I remember riding this back in 2007. My school took us on a trip from the uk to paris for french language class. I don't think any of us spoke a word of french on that trip but this ride was amazing 👏
Sounds like Michael Jackson was on this ride 😂
Joe Adame XDXDXDXD
Right?
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Lmao true
2:20 I’ve never seen so many people waiting to get beaten up.
S
this ride will put you in va comma
genious
Comma?
OffcialMusicVotes Its a joke you gps wouldn’t understand
Comma or coma? Lol
@@totallynotandrewstudios1515 Well they are named Vekoma not Vecomma and even if you did spell it with a C their roller coasters aren't even that bad and there would not be to M's because the dude spelt comma not coma.
If anyone is scared of roller coasters here is my opinion. I went to parc asterix with my school couple days ago and I was really tempted to go on Goudrix! I’ve never been a roller coaster fan I wouldn’t go on the littlest rides when I was younger but because of parc asterix I have come out my shell. Something just came over me and I really wanted to go on so I start queuing and normally my heart races and I shake before ANY ride but with this one I was SO excited. I absolutely loved it! I went on it again and again then went on all the other rides in parc asterix! Once you go on one big ride your unstoppable! Now I can ride any ride and I love them now!
This roller coaster used to be a torture machine in the medieval times when prisoners didn't give their captors the information they needed. R.I.P necks
😂
that sounds painful as heck
All of this guys saying 'This ride murders your neck' probably haven't ridden it because it is a bit rough but with your head back it's the best Roller Coaster in the entire park...
Tonerre 2 zeus….
Gourdrix is amazing. I went to ASTRIX PARK with my family but I had to go on this by myself. I'm 12 and it's the best thing I've been on!!
The 7 loops are great but the last two bash you head from side to side as they curl
At the age of 50 this was the first big coaster I'd ever ridden on. My son lured me on with lies...at the end I almost fell off, wobbled round to the start and went straight back on. (It was a quiet day.) My husband made me come away after the third trip. Biggest adrenaline rush of my life.
Just watching this I felt like I broke my neck. But overall I like the amount of going upside down it had and the first drop I enjoy seeing that.
It's not a broken neck, the filming angle is wrong,it was supposed to filmed with the stick sticked on the car
1:16 A *D Y I N G* Eagle
lol
Don't give this ride hate. I've been on it multiple times and as long as u keep ur head back ur fine
It's very fun as well
Can’t wait to see vekoma make custom loopers with their new track design 😃
Technically, this was the first roller coaster to have four different types of inversions. Considering how rough this ride is, that was a phyrric victory.
"Centrifuge, the ride" would have been a much more fitting name for this ride.
This looks quite fun to be honest..
It iss
I’ve actually never heard of or seen this ride before, so it was interesting watching the toughness of the track and reading the comments talking about how the ride is really rough on your neck. I don’t know much about this ride so my guess is that it is one of the few remaining hand made non prefab steel rollercoasters, which have a much rougher layout. that and also probably age
Me: "man if there's a double corkscrew at the end that's gonna wreck th-"
Goudurix: :)
Looks rough
KOASTERKAM it is. Suggestion: Never ride it!
gave me light concussion the first time i rode it
Imagine if Togo made that ride it would be even rough in the ride car will be shaking back and forth
Broke my neck while watching this, remembering the pain this steel death trap once brought me ...
This ride was launched in 1989 and was considered the absolute ride in France, when Disneyland Paris launched space Mountain in 1995, it was considered as too "soft". And today, I see all the negative comments on Goudurix, I guess people are too soft now...ok it is a little rough but it is part of the fun. I love this ride!
Why do people choose to associate their level of manliness with the weirdest things..
I've been on this ride and its so fun 🎢
It's not even that rough you just bang your head like once the roughness gives it character. I really loved it.
Wow, that storm cloud in the beginning knows how to set the mood: Scary as ****
This coaster is on my bucket list just for it's layout! This is hands down one of the most unique arrow loopers in the world. Up there is Loch Ness Monster and Dragon Mountain!
You can also call it a Vekoma Coaster the Track is basically Arrow because they gave the Track rights to Vekoma
and they built it.
That scream at 1:15 XD
S
1:21 did anybody hear that scream 😂😂😂😂🤣 🤣
I did it one week ago and I didn’t get hurt 🤔. Just put your head back to the seat and it will be ok. It’s such a great ride !
Clara Kansoussi lucky
This actually looks underrated NGL
I see this thing is about as smooth as a pile of rocks
I see Vekoma went to the Arrow school of coaster transitions. They do not look smooth.
+Tommy Carr xD
Arrow was teaching stuff to Vekoma. But ay one point Vekoma ran with Arrow ' s idea. which is why they have the same type of track.
I don't think Vekoma designed their coasters bending Coat hangers
Well at least they didn't go to the Togo school
Arrow did much better when it came to custom loopers
alternate universe in which vekoma is still vekoma but arrow is still alive making the smoothest rollercoasters smoother than an intamin
Here's to hoping Vekoma puts their new B&M wing-style restraints on this.
+Jason Hook Agreed
I went on it and my head was bangin everywhereeee
Do you guys get like "special permission" to film these? Or do you just like, start filming and stuff?
ZRovas117 EastCoast(er)General, who films most of our videos, contacts the parks ahead of time to get permission and arrange the dates to film.
I WANNA GO ON BACK TO BACK TO BACK RIDES, I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS

The drop is way deeper in the actual ride, I’ve been on this hellcoaster
Oh look! Its our good friend, ToRtUrE!!!
What an interesting first two element selections.
Holly cow! I got dizzy just by watching.
One of the most painful rides i have ever been on!
Agree
Those are crazy rides you go on. I want to go on one of those.
Love the two head choppers!
when i ride that, my organs are going every where in me body
*Ótima montanha russa pra relaxar depois do almoço nesse parque*
This should be a coaster credit for most pain endured.
Nice camera work...nice and steady. Oh sorry, wrong video.
Did he pass out after that scream then woke up cus that screamlasted for 2 seconds
The layout is pretty sick. Looks intense. Too bad its rough af... Imagine if B&M made this. Or modern vekoma for that matter. Their new rides seem smooth as hell, and quite intense.
All of the roller coasters I did in my life are Vekoma's and they actually breaks your neck and you leave them with a headache, but the layout is amazing
I visited Paris on a school trip and they took us here, this was the first rollercoaster I had ever been on...
Oh my god 😱 does anybody of u wish to go there to enjoy this ride? 😁
ponnootty as As me
For me not it's an vekoma coaster
And i can tell you that is not that smooth i can tell you this because i live in france and i ride it a couple of times (the park is in France)

Why’s the track mesmerizing to look at
I rode this some 30 years ago. I had a few months before undergone back surgery after a fracture on a vertebra. Lots of screws and metal bars back there. I can assure you it was painful.
What were you doing riding a roller coaster in the same year you underwent back surgery to fix a fractured vertebra??

That’s my favorite ride in the whole world
Damn, that thing does nothing but go upside down, over and over again. Even just one time is one time too many for me. Not to mention, the height of this ride @ 1:10 😲. So more power to all who ride this 😁🖒!!!
CLICKBAIT.
It says that it's a roller coaster, but it's clearly a torture device in action.
目が回りそうなだけのジェットコースター
From 1:17 is noticeable camera angle errors, there's some bumpy paths but it was actually filmed by the cockpit instead of the car that why is painful
My neck hurts just watching the video!!
Who's watching this in 2018
Goudurix ou le manège qui te blesse ?
@Coline Delta Perso j'avais callé ma grosse écharpe et je me suis tenue droite je l'ai pas trouvé inconfortable
It’s a good thing they have the extra brake section to avoid the station brakes failure breakdown accident
Now that is a coaster! Love giant corckscrews in my coaster

A good ole classic Vekoma right here
They should get new trains for this ride, it has an awesome layout! It's just really rough :(
Not so awesome layout xD But it has some potential, the same base layout with some modifications to make it smoother can make a quite good coaster maybe.
Ah, I’ve always wanted to snap my neck in half.
Holy cow, this looks even more painful than the Ninja at Six Flags Over GA.
Ninja at Six Flags Over Georgia is actually alright now as it got new trains and a refurbishment and is now known as Blue Hawk.
The Arrow/Vekoma concussion machine that is also named Ninja located at Six Flags St Louis sadly did not get this refurb yet and continues to beat the sh*t out of riders.
This one has some serious turns and loops! The guy making the video has a funny scream!
Has anybody been bugged by the guy screaming @“WOOO!WOOOO!” ALL THE TIME !
It hurts my neck just by looking at it
Are you an army?
Is this the roller coaster what j hope ride?
Blackpink jennie Shen yue i don’t think so, this ride is a french ride
I did Goudurix when I was 9, it destroyed my neck lel
Ive been on this...its really rough but a lot of fun
Hey guys, do you think that if they gave this ride the Sunkid Heege Trains like on Prater and Walibi Rhone Alpes' Boomerang it would make for an improvement?
Typical parisian northern suburb guy, with the strong "wesh" accent (we call them "wesh" because they always say this word in place of "yes" and at the end of their sentences xD )
Loooool Deanrell !
Plus des jeunes beaufs que des wesh à mon avis
C'est les beaufs qui utilisent ce mot, pas les banlieusard.
Even as a native french speaker this is reaaaally hard to understand. But I think he says something like "On y reva, on est repartis" which basically means "Here we go again"
Sa me tue les anglais qui commente la video et comprene rien au nom du jeux au accent francais du genre comment les gens parler derriere tout sa 😂
Does The Recorder Person Not scream?!
Jace Johnson No. EastCoasterGeneral, who films most of our videos, doesn't make any sounds when he's filming POVs.
***** How does he cotton to coaster convos on/off ride?
+Jace Johnson If you want the recorder person to scream, TPR is the place for you.
Of course not, he’s a professional
We missed our flight last summer so we went to this park. The ride hurts like hell
I was on this coaster when i visited France. It was not bad but not good either. The adrenaline the loops and corkscrew were very good but the seats aren't comfortable and it was a bumpy ride. I give the ride a 5 out of 10. It's not good and not bad. It's an okay ride for me. My opinion. 🎢😐
that guy’s scream 😂😂😂
The most non-smooth thing I every seen
I was watching this ride with a view to getting on it. People got in their seats and started the first climb. Unfortunately they came to a stop near the top. I watched as they sat there for a good half hour. Needless to say I didn't bother getting on it once it opened up again!
This layout is super similar to Darien Lakes Viper!
